But despite her fears of discovery she is enchanted by the beautiful work of--and the friendship offered by--the women who invite her to join their quilting circle. And even though she fears the consequences for both of them, she finds herself powerfully drawn to Sam, and to the generations-old love story rooted in the town's past. Will she and Sam repeat the past, or can they find the love and the freedom they seek at last?

"Her best yet!"
if you love reading Kate Morton books like I do, then this will be your favorite it was mine it caught me by surprise. I suggest reading the other books first or listening to them as it were. This was one I had a hard time putting down and I would actually wake up in the middle of the night to listen to part of it. don't miss it exclamation point
"Good story, good performance, ok production"
I liked both the author's story telling skills and the reader's performance, but there are severall places where the audio has weird and disconcerting background noises, that reminded me of a fax machine or modem connecting. So I've rated story and performance 5 stars each, but only 4 stars overall.
"Narrator did excellent job"
Another great book by Emilie Richards. She expertly keeps the reader (listener in suspense) until the very end and everything that happens in her story plays a part in the finale. I thought the narrator, Isable Keating did an especially excellent job with this story. The characters are brought to life with emotion and makes the listener feel as though they are really there in Shenandoah Valley.
