After the first novel, this one was disapointing. There was almost no character developement. Characters are either good or bad without change. Evie turns into a WWI super woman without any flaws, quite boring and annoying. Most of the excitement seems to have been spent in the first novel. Moments that could have been dramatic were skipped or only mentioned. Also even more predictable than part one.
Like a good old fashioned story,or a true crime book. Something not drawn out or a slow storyline.
Gripping plot and storyline. Great follow on from first book .I will look forward to further books by this author
Easterleigh hall (first book)
Yes,too long for one sitting but every free moment was on.
Not narrated by Katy Sobey.
Could not understand her at times because of the accent.
Change the narrator
Parts of the story was OK but I would have like to have had more story lines to do with the people at the Hall.
