Clinging to their courage in a crumbling world, Aislinn and Fionn vow to save Earth, no matter what it takes.
In a post-apocalyptic world where most people have been slaughtered, the Celtic gods and a few humans with magic are all that stand between survival and Earth falling into chaos. The combination of dark sorcery leveraged by the enemy is daunting. Destruction is all but certain if the small enclaves of humans who are left can't get past their distrust of the Celts.
Captured by the enemy, Aislinn Lenear wonders if she'll ever see her bond wolf or Fionn, a Celtic god, again. She's had nothing but her wits to rely on for years. They haven't failed her yet, but escape from her current predicament seems remote.
An enticing blend of dystopian urban fantasy and romance, this second volume of the Earth Reclaimed Series provides fertile ground for Aislinn and Fionn's relationship to deepen. Headstrong and independent, the pair run up against each other's demands time and time again. Fireworks spark. In the end, they learn to savor every moment in a bittersweet world where each day may well be the last.

Writer, reader, now an avid listener, why hadn't I discovered this before!
As with the first book, I was given this in exchange for my honest opinion.
Once I'd gotten used to the narrator through the first book, this was a nice addition to the world created. I think anyone who listened to the first book would really enjoy this, it ties up lots of loose ends, and yet still leaves you with some questions.
Of course, lots of action, and sexy scenes which I think is handled better in this book and at least I was expecting it. I think the characters especially Aislinn grows a lot in this, she had so much thrown at her in the first book I wasn't expecting this journey to be as hard, but it was in very different ways. She's a very strong woman and I can identify with her for pulling on through sometimes against all the odds.
Really worth listening too, and I think that Caroline improved her character voices and tone through this book. I look forward to more, I think there is another one, not 100% sure on that, if it's written or in audio : ) but I will find out.
The second book in the Earth Reclaimed series gets Once again, The author has written an intriguing story of magic and sensuality, full with tension as Aislinn and Fionn struggle to keep their romance alive amidst the horrors .
"Earth's future still hangs in limbo"
This is such a fascinating story! I cannot get enough of it. I am hooked. This is book 2 in the series and I would not recommend listening to this one without listening to book 1 first. That being said, I love the continued development of the characters that we get to see. The bond between Aislinn and Fiona deepens as does Aislinn's relationship with her bond animals ( including an annoying dragon). The series continues and so will I.... book 3 here I come.
"Love Deepens, Heartache Abounds"
As book one left off, Aislinn, Fionn, and the other Celtic gods, Gwydion, Bran, and Arawn were jumping to help the human hunter trapped by Lemurians. It was a trap by the traitor Travis to take Aislinn to his Lemurian mage lord, Regnol. Aislinn is transported to their hold, Taltos, deep under Mount Shasta. There is also a gateway from Marta's house to Taltos. Fionn and Runn use this to attempt a rescue mission.
This book has so much action to it that it was really had to stop listening and do anything else.
There is the mission to rescue Gwydion from the dark lords castle. While there they found a long awaited friend and had tragedy strike. They then left for Ireland for some amazingly noisy miracles. While in England to recruit fellow rebels against the Lemurians they capture an enemy and the enemy takes advantage.
Tragedy strikes again as they struggle against insurmountable odds. They are learning to work together as a team and trust is established.
This audiobook is great!
"Interesting Mix of Legends and Lore"
I really liked the book, I'm interested in celtic traditions so this book was really entertaining to me. I got this book in exchange for a review
"Another hit out of the park read"
This is one of the best listens I've had sofar. This book is a hit just like all of the others I've gotten to experience by this author.
This book hooked me right away and kept me right in the,mix of things as the story continued to unfold around me.
I don't think I could pick just one the whole storyline was masterfully done.
Most definitely I wanted to keep listening I just had to know what happens next.
Any and I truly mean any book by this author is fantastic weather you read them or listen to them or both you most definitely will not walk away disappointed in any way and will want to keep going as you read more and more of this authors work.
"The Fight For Earth Continues"
This is the second book in the Earth Reclaimed series. All three series books have been released so you don't have to wait for the next book to keep reading. Which is really good for me as I am hooked on this series after reading books one and two and am glad I don't have to wait to keep reading.
This book picks up right where Earth's Requiem left off. You can read this book as a standalone, but I highly encourage you to read Earth's Requiem prior to reading this one. Please note that while Earth's Blood does not end in a cliffhanger, it is open ended to finish the story with book #3. There is a LOT of sex in this book and may not be suitable for some readers.
Aislinn, Fionn, their bond animals Rune and Bella, a few Celtic gods and the Dragon Dewi continue the fight against the Lemurians and the Dark Ones. After they are betrayed by Travis, they must journey to free Aislinn. They then must venture into one of the Border Worlds to find and free two of the Celtic gods. Then there are dragons!! Can they save the dragons and free the earth from the Lemurians and Dark Ones?
I listened to the audio version of this book. While I don't normally like female narrators, Caroline McLaughlin did an excellent job. This book has a lot of graphic sex scenes and I can't imagine having to voice them. They are sometimes hard enough to read but hearing them described had me fast forwarding at times. I still enjoyed the storyline, and of course the dragons, and can't wait to read the last book.
"Really Good Story!!"
Apocalypse, Celtic Gods, Humans, Dragons, Magic, Aliens and more.
Really good interesting and entertaining story. This series has something for everyone.
I had a really hard time with this book in the beginning. This is entirely my own fault. Many times you can pick up the second book in a series and it doesn't make any difference. That is not the case here. There is so much going on with so many characters it was difficult to keep it all straight.
So I stopped listening to this book and looked up the first book Earth's Requiem. I was going to purchase the first book on Audible but I am not fond of the narrator. So I read the chapters that were available on Google Books then read through some of the reviews on Earth's Requiem to familiarize my self with the story.
Then I came back to the audio and restarted. While the story made much more sense and the characters were easier to follow the narrator detracted from the story.
This was a really good story. There are so many characters and so much going on you really need to pay attention. If you get distracted for a second you have missed something and have to go back. It's really hard to describe this book in a short synopsis. Bottom line read or listen to the series you will not be disappointed.
This is the first time I have listened to a book narrated by Caroline McLaughlin. For me her narration distracted from the story. Although her voice is great for Aislinn, There is not enough distinction between the different characters. The only way I know for sure it's Fionn or one of the Celts is the accent. When they are speaking without a Celtic accent I have no idea who is speaking until it's made clear at the end of a sentence. If you’re a alpha male Celtic God to me your voice should be a little deeper.
This is my first time listening to an Ann Gimple book. She has made a fan out of me. I will be going back and reading the first book, then I will continue with the series but I think I will be
reading them instead of listening.
This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review. .
An intriguing and migical story. It's the 2nd book full of dragons, wizards, celt gods and humans with magic powers most the other human are dead. The romance is between aislinn and fionn . The cell gods are helping what humans are left from the lemurian and dark gods. The characters are wonderfully writen and the story is truly stunning. Amazing and fantastic! I love Caroline mclaughlin she does a great job reading this story.
I have to say Ann Gimpel you've blown my mind! This is a story with romance, danger, and lots of action. I truly loved my time with this story and hearing it just brought a whole new dimension of enjoyment to it. I highly recommend to any adults who love romance to give it a try you won't be disappointed.
"A BOOK WITH SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE"
This book is a continuation from Earth's Requiem. Although it is best to start with book one, it is pretty easy to catch up in a couple of chapters.
Wow, what a post apocalyptic world this book focuses on. From alien invaders planning the demise of humankind to Dark Gods fighting Gods of Light. The protagonist is a young magic wielding female with her sights set on saving humankind and exacting justice for the murder of her loved ones. She has a growing romantic relationship with the light ancient God that joins forces with her. Add to that the the wonderful characters in the form of bond mates ( a wolf and raven) who communicate telepathically with their bonded person and you have additional characters to love. Oh and don't forget dragons ( the last male and female of their kind) that find each other and raise a brood of baby dragons? How adorable is that!
And there are plenty of hot steamy romantic scenes as well. Simply said, this book has characters you love to hate and ones you love to love.
The narrator does a good job with the very difficult task of supplying different voices for all the characters.
I received this audiobook free of charge in exchange for a fair and honest review.
