Duncan Mackay will do anything to lift the curse from his family - even forfeit his own life. But his plans change when he encounters the woman from his dreams, literally. She is from the future, somehow has his lost sword, and can talk to the Dragon that is able to lift his family's curse.
Brigid O'Neill has spent her life listening to the mythological legends from Ireland and Scotland. So, when an ancient sword lands at her doorstep and she starts dreaming of a rugged Highlander, she drops everything and takes on a quest that will alter everything she believes. Before their journey ends, not only will Duncan and Brigid battle an ancient curse, they must also find the courage to believe in the destiny that brought them together.

I loved the story. Also thought that Mr. Waters did a great job. The urkel comment really annoyed me. It's hard to voice all the characters in dialect and out. Great job on it. I think that by a few chapters In the voices were great and settled in nicley.
I really enjpyed the transitions from present to past. In character traits and story.
Yes. It was great
Great story and great natration. Loved it
"WHAT WOULD YOU CHOOSE?????"
Yes,listening to a good romance once is never enough
Not just a romance but a good story line that you can see, even if I didn't not know that there will be more, leading on into additional adventures with the brothers .
I have never listened to anything narrated by Jonathan Waters but will not hesitate to listen to him again,he is so good at changing from one to another character it is hard to tell at times that it is the same person
Bridgette's final decision
Hoping to be able to listen to the next two books in this series on Audible soon
"MEH...was just ok."
The narrator needs more practice with accents and female voices. Plot was a little weak for a time travel love story. It kept me entertained but I would not listen to it twice.
"Duncan McKay's sword"
I enjoyed listening as well as reading this book. You should be able to read my review on Amazon, but I will say that I thought the narrator did an excellent job. It's more difficult than one would think to actually narrate a book with a variety of characters and voices. Since you most like would not be able to do all in one sitting, if a slight repeat happens, it doesn't bother me personally, at all. (Not saying this one did, I honestly don't remember)
Most likely Duncan was my favorite character, but it's always difficult for me to try to pin it down to just one.
I enjoyed the entire book as well as the audio version.
"story about heartache love and revenge"
I love how she goes back to the past and find your true love and is willing to lose everything for him
"Good stor but not so good narrator...."
Duncan because he learnt to forgave himself.
No. I can't get pass the female voice....if the storyline wasn't good I would have returned the book. He does the male voice extremely well though.
Yes, because there are so many great characters in the book not to.
"Urkel sounding Bridget"
The heroine sounded like Urkel. Really couldn't get past that. Sorry, really bad. Urkel is a bad sound.
