Kathleen Davis has never been more confused. While running from one wolf who insists she is his mate, she finds herself face to face with her real mate. Why is he such a jerk, then? And why does he treat her like a child? Screw him. If this is what a "real" mate is, she wants no part of him.
Gabriel Albertson's family hosts the Wolf Gathering every two years, but he hasn't been home in ages. Fortifying himself to face the masses of unmated females, he never even makes it out the door before his one and only bounds right into his hiding place. To his disappointment he realizes she's more child than woman.
But Gabriel is mistaken, and his error insults his gorgeous mate. He must hunt her down, apologize, and convince her he isn't the ass he first appeared to be. Although he manages to claim her, his dominance frightens Kathleen and sends her fleeing his parents' home. Can he pull his act together, tail between his legs, and convince her their mating is real and worth the risk to her heart?

I liked the fact that she made the characters real.
I am not a fan of domination. It was with mixed emotions that I continued to listen to this, hoping that Kathleen would not give up her independence for the sake of a man. The thing with these stories is that we never quite know if she retains her independence or become totally controlled by her man. Is a promise enough?
This book was so hot and I enjoy. I like it that they were confidence enough to look towards their parents for help and guidance toward their relationship. I never thought I'd be interested in submissive and dominate but this book had me hot, turn up, and bother..😊☺️😚😚😚
Wish there was more for the characters to overcome. Needed more story. Not bad, not good. Good sex scenes though
"Didn't like the narrator at all !"
The story was a light read about a virgin and a dominant and then the main character is very skittish and young . Nothing spectacular but a nice very light read . I didn't like the narrator at all she made this annoying voices with the characters especially the main female . She would tell the story in a very low voice and when the characters had to speak she pretty much made them hell I was always playing with the sound cause it was never constant ... Story wise though it's a nice story about a virgin and a wolf who wants to dominate her and she feels overwhelmed .
"Short BUT Sweet"
Gabriel is a hot, confident Dom who is brought to this knees but the innocent, strong will Kathleen. Two wolves who KNOW they are meant for each other but keep either saying the wrong thing, or not saying anything at all...great fun seeing their dilemma.
"Good but too short"
I really like the story. The narrator did a good job changing up voices. My only desire was that it could have been longer with more details. Maybe the author will consider s longer follow up book encompassing both of the previous two books characters and their growth as couples.
