Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. This is a great paranormal romance with mystery and suspense surrounding the couple.

    Any additional comments?

Kyle and Stephanie's story is unique. Both are loners of a sort and their story of coming together makes a great paranormal audio book. I especially appreciate the layers of different characters that Anna (the author) sprinkles throughout her books.

Every time I hear one of Anna story's I am amazed how wonderful they are. They never fail to draw me in and I just can't seem to put the book down lol.
This story is about Kyle, he has been in almost all of the other books as a human turned wolf who works as a cop. I have sooooo been wanting him to have his story so yeah!
and Stefanie, she was bitten also and turned but the whole story is wrapped around that so I am not going to tell ya more!
    The story is OMG WOW!
so full of action, Drama, twists, hotness, romance, great storyline I could go on but I think ya got the point! Lol
this author has a great eye for story details and planning and that makes for an awesome story.
It's a must and should be 10 stars!
I can honestly say I loved it and you should read it!

    "Good story"

    BOOK REVIEW.....
While I loved the first 2 books - Desert Moon and Desert Blood I feel this is my favorite in the series. I just really liked Kyle and Stefanie. I liked their chemistry and how they were friends first. I can relate to Kyle. He feels so alone and like he doesn't fit anywhere until Stefanie reenters his life and he realizes she is his mate. I like Stefanie also, She's strong, independent and in her own way as lonely as Kyle. Now because of being bitten she is also a changeling Like Kyle and the guy that bit her thinks she is also his mate. To find out what happens your going to have to buy the book. You will love it to.

The narrator did a great job of reading the story.

"A very enjoyable way to reconnect with these books"

I have surprisingly enjoyed listening to this book and it is interesting that the audible version gives one a different perspective of the story.
Kyle’s past actions seem more believable and more ingrained, I liked him before but even more so now.
I can actually understand Stefanie doing a runaway, she had had so much thrown at her so quickly no wonder she had a minor/major meltdown.
I still dislike the archaic laws from this world. First Lana then Stefanie really suffered due to the laws. Seems to impinge on females more than males.
I have really enjoyed listening and picking up subtle differences in the story from my memories. I also found it interesting that listening makes you pick up parts you don't give much credence too.
Good descriptive narration but I still find it strange having one person do all the voices. I do have to speed the narration up to 1.25 as it seems too slow at normal speed for me. I would also like a bit more inflection when it is called for.
In summation I have to say I am enjoying listening to audible books as the convenience is fantastic. I can do so many things while listening to a book.
I have read and reviewed this book and have included that review below but this audible book was a gift from the author.
These books are also in Volume sets and are great value for money as well as containing bonus short stories related to these couples.

    Book Review
Wow, had to read to the end to see what happened.
Loner Kyle has his mate handed to him by fate and an unscrupulous wolf from another pack.
Stefanie was just doing her job when she was bitten by a wolf trying to mate her.
Kyle and Stefanie knew and supported each other as children so it was wonderful fate bought them together again to be mates. Unfortunately, they both have baggage and rotten wolves to deal with along the way to their HEA.
We find out so much more about Kyles history and it was lovely to see them both grow stronger together.
I do hate the archaic laws these wolves live by.
Kyle has to fight to save Stefanie from being given to the other horrible pack. He really is a hero as he lets Stefanie go rather than claim her when she is not ready.
Stefanie had every reason to be so unbalanced, that pulling that was going on by Ron was horrible, she did have a meltdown and took off in Kyles truck leaving him to fight for her alone, but he would rather she was free and away from him than with Ron and Greer.
Stefanie’s wolf talked some sense into her and made her realise Kyle was their mate and needed them.
The dialogue going on with both of their wolves was fantastic, so good. You can just imagine them thinking slow, idiot, human half is not seeing what is right there.
I think her wolf really helped Stefanie find her way and I loved that she headed back to fight alongside Kyle against Greer and Ron, no matter the outcome or odds.
Fantastic news that Tyrone leaves Twin Moon ranch to take over the North Ridge pack in Colorado.

    "Following the Stars Home"

Desert Fate brings Stef to the Twin Moons ranch while on the run. She doesn't know what happened, where she is, or why she should travel the direction that she is. And that's when Fate steps in and throws Kyle in her path. I really could feel the pull of Kyle's loneliness and pain listening his story. But for all that, he can still be a dense guy! I'm on team Stef – she was extremely likeable as someone that was strong, independent, could & would fight back. But also had a soft and vulnerable side. She needed Kyle, her wolf needed him. Stef and Kyle have been my favorite couple in the Desert Moon series so far. But there's still more to come!

The story while the 3rd in this series & stand alone doesn't require any of the previous stories. It was easy to listen to and very pleasurable with Kelsey Osborne as the narrator. While there was not a lot of vocal differential between all of the different characters including the those from the prior stories, Ms. Osborn made up for it in her wonderfully dramatic delivery. You could feel as if you were in front of the narrator as she wove the tales straight from the books hands.
