Lead guitarist of the Dark Troubadours, Dayan was renowned for his mesmerizing performances. His melodies stilled crowds, beckoned, seduced. And always, he called to her to complete him. Corinne Wentworth stood at the vortex of a gathering storm. Pursued by the fanatics who'd murdered her husband, she was risking her life by keeping more than one secret. Fragile, delicate, vulnerable, she had an indomitable faith that made her fiery surrender to Dayan all the more powerful.

12th novel/novella in the Dark/Carpathian series, and one of my favorites! I like the creativity of the storyline- the who, what, where of Corrine and their challenges. I generally like "earthy" ;;)) stories, but it's nice to include storylines not quite so "earthy". It gives Feehan's creativity the opportunity to shine.
"another great book"
when I need to get away from reality I love turning to my books. Christine has given us another brilliant story full of adventure, love, and romance.
WHEN FIRST HER
THE NIGHT THEY WENT BACK TO HER HOUSE FOR CLOTHES
YES, WHEN SHE WAS HURT TRYING TO SAVE HER SISTER
THE BOOK ENDED TO SOON
I love Christine Feehan!!!
She is an great author!!! I can't believe her writing !!! She has thrown in twists and turns in her writings
Little repetitive, but a better narrator than the last book. Even with bad narrators, it's a good series. I like when they crossover to the other families.
"my favorite one yet"
my favorite one so far. I love all of the characters coming together!! can't wait
"Different from the rest of the series"
Must be hard for the last of any family to find your lifemate. A very sick and pregnant widow, at that. What these poor people go though. All for love and caring. Not a better reason, if you ask me.😂
