Publisher's Summary

Emma Wade has worked hard to create a stable life surrounded by people she loves. But when her dark past catches up with her, Emma fears she might not live long enough to testify against the man who hurt her all those years ago. Her only choice is to run. And if there is one thing Emma learned as a homeless teen, it was knowing when to sleep alone and knowing when to partner up.

Rhys Striker, the sexy ex-marine she shared a hot night with, is the only one she trusts with her secrets. But she learns quickly she's not the only one running from something. And as both of their pasts threaten to take them under, she'll have to choose between protecting her life and protecting her heart.

    Story
    "Ummmm... is this it?"

There has to be like 8 or 9 chapters missing from this... I just don't understand... the story so far was great... Just what I'd expect from Joya Ryan...but it just ended... all incomplete... What the heck happen... I need to call Audible on this... I am not sure this is all of this story...

Anyway, from the 3hrs offered... it was great... I couldn't wait to get to Emma's story... I wish however, her guys was a bit more dominate like Adam... but he was good for Emma...

Story was enjoyable...but ending... I am sure there is like half of the book missing...

Narration was great... same as the other two books..

Worth a Credit or sale... not a buy b/c I am not sure this is all of the book....

"Where is the rest of it....I just stops."

Half of the story is missing. It's a great series. I will have to purchase the book to read the rest. Disappointing.

    "these books captured me."

I love Joys Ryan's books. They have character's that make u care about them and there dilemma's the plot was intriguing. I downloaded all I could find. And they keep me listening. The listen till I have to go to sleep, and then start in the morning while eating breakfast and while I clean the house. The narrators does well bringing the character's to life. I !love fact that audible has so many of my favorite author's. My fire in jammed packed.

What does Jennifer Stark bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The way she reads keeps me captivated. I love her voice.

    Any additional comments?

I love when Jennifer Stark is the Narrator.

Would you listen to Capture Me Slowly again? Why?

Yes. It seems these days BDSM is the norm and refreshingly this book is not (other books in the series are).

Who was your favorite character and why?

Reese. At last a man raised by a loving family. He encounters challenges in life and works to overcome them.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I don't care for the narrator. She comes across as harsh.
