Everything is Brilliant!!!!!!
Everyone is Brilliant!!!!!!
Some lovely nuances from each character over the series and a great way to end a truly brilliant series. I have listened to all the episodes many times. It's become a treasured friend, particularly when I need a lift. I think it should be held up as an absolute classic.
no favourites - the skill of the writing is that they all compliment each other
I loved the moment when Authur tells the police officer what he has in the back of his van
I would recommend listening to all previous episodes from beginning to end - this way you understand about the characters, their history and of course all the in jokes for this final episode. Cabin Pressure is one of the series I listen to again and again and it still makes me laugh even though I know what's coming.
Zurich is a masterclass in how to bring to an end a much loved series. Lots of references for fans who have followed for years and know the other episodes inside- out. It also features a cracking race-against- time plot and a satisfying conclusion (literally flying into the sunset). Outstanding performances from the cast - my favourite is Carolyn/Stephanie but they are all tremendous. 5 stars barely cover it.
Yet another masterpiece but so sad that it's the final series. So superbly acted from a stellar cast that you will not get tired of repeating each episode. worth every penny, five star.
I've loved every second of cabin pressure and have listened to each series about 3 times now. I can highly recommend it to everyone, it is funny, clever and even makes me laugh the third time around. I will miss not having more series to add to the collection.
It seems as if cabin pressure has become part of the family. My children bring various story lines into everyday conversation, yellow car has become the game of choice while travelling in my car and the "bear polar" speech in a French accent has become my nine year old sons party piece. Good clean comedy for all ages. Simply "brilliant"
Definitely one for the fans. Lots of call backs and in jokes. Also wonderfully funny in its own right. Absolutely superb
Best comedy series of all time!
Touching and hilarious, wish it never ended. Once you start it you won't be able to stop till you've heard them all.
I was so excited to see this final episode arrive on Audible, I quickly downloaded and listened to it...and I was not disappointed. This episode is an hour long; the first part sets up the scenario (and, to be fair, it's a little long and sometimes confusing), but without it, the payoff in the second half would not occur! It's a great episode and completes the series in a satisfactory and extremely funny and appropriate way.
I don't know what I will do without the crew of MJN Air...they have entertained me for hours on my commute and I will miss them terribly.
"it's a sad fairy tale ending...BRILLIANT!"
I am sad that this is the last episode. I have so enjoyed Carolyn, Martin, Douglas, and Arthur and all the rest of the madcap characters. Excellent fun.
Such fun! Absolutely love the characters and the humor, I listen to it again and again! So sorry there aren't more.
Great wrap up to a series I was sad to see end. But the end was satisfactory in wrapping up all the stories in the same way the series was. Goofy fun. A nice change of pace. will be looking for more by Finnemoore. He is good.
"Funny, clever, flawlessly performed"
I came for Benedict Cumberbatch's voice, left completely in love with John Finnemore's brain. He's ridiculously clever and Arthur is the funniest, most entertaining character I have come across. His delivery is perfect.
"Wish there were more like this!!!"
Wonderful end to a wonderful series. I will forever purchase anything written by James Finnemore! Just good clean fun genius! In a word "BRILLIANT!" ;)
"Such an incredible show"
I drive 50 minutes each way to work every day, and it's always so boring. Nothing brightens up my day more than this piece of brilliance by John Finnemore. Just so incredible. Highly recommend!
Wonderful writing, true character development, jokes you must be smart enough to understand. Loved it. Have listened to it over and over.
Cabin pressure is really funny and so clever. I loved it all from series 1 to 4 and then the final episode "Zurich". The most entertaining audio books I have bought.
