From number-one New York Times best-selling author Karen Kingsbury comes the third novel in the unforgettable Angels Walking series about divine intervention and the trials and triumphs of life for a group of friends.
Despite needing a heart transplant and against the advice of her doctor, Mary Catherine moves to Uganda to work at a brand-new orphanage. Whatever time she has left, Mary Catherine wants to spend it helping children - especially since there will be no children of her own. The only problem is Major League Baseball player Marcus Dillinger, the man she never meant to fall in love with. Neither Marcus nor Mary Catherine's other friends - Tyler Ames and Sami Dawson - know just how serious her heart condition is.
Still, Marcus is sure in the depths of his soul that something isn't right. Ultimately, his correspondence with Mary Catherine leads him on a desperate life-or-death mission to rescue her and get her to a US hospital before time runs out. Meanwhile, Sami and Tyler struggle with issues of their own. In a season when Tyler plans to ask Sami to marry him, the very core of their relationship is in jeopardy.
The team of angels walking is busier than ever in this epic battle between life and death. Brush of Wings is a poignant tale of love, sacrifice, and the power of faith.

I enjoy listening to all 3 books in the science however the story did draft on at the end . I was waiting or expecting for an unprecedented ending. Overall it was a good listener .
The way the two readers were so much in sink when reading this story especially when January was narrating Mary Kathryn's parts and then when she was reading Marcus letters to her Curby Hayborn would take over that particular part.
I can't think of any other book i would compare this to. This is a concept that until i'd read this series i'd never seen done by a writer before.
They bring true emotion and give us different voices for each character bringing them to life.
Angels walk among us without us even knowing it.
An amazing story five out of five. I can't wait to see what Karen Kingsbury will bring us next.
This story has touched my very core. I have been taken back several times in my life throughout this series. I had a life threatening illness 19years a go, I was on 100% Oxygen . I was put on powerful antibiotics by IV , The Consultant said he would have to keep me on medication for the rest of my life. Through prayer and constant talking to God my Spiritual life has strengthened to the point were I hear God's voice in many situations. Through prayer asking God for a miracle for a sister in Christ as she had Cancer and given two weeks to live, I talked to God like never before, His answer came when I asked her son how she was, his answer surprised me when he gave me her new number and told me she was well and at home, I phoned her straight away after three rings she answered and straight away I could hear laughter in her voice, the cancer had gone. I've believed that those who trust in God and The Name of Jesus have Guardian Angels around them. Amen 💕
"Great Ending to the series"
Thouroghly enjoyed this book. I couldn't quit listening/reading. Sad the series has ended. worth th wait.
"Reading these books you feel inspired. "
This series was uplifting and wanting to be a better person. Thank you for this.
could not put it down. stayed up way past bedtime plenty of times. sad the series ended.
"Brush Of Wings"
The story made you feel like you were in the middle of what was going in.
The story about angels gave me peace in knowing My Great God has them watching over all of us.
"Angels Everywhere, Everyday"
The Biblical references throughout the book constantly got my attention. Whatever the situation there is an answer for in the Bible and Brush of Wings brought them to the surface for me. I loved how Karen showed that all of heaven pray for those who call on God when difficult surcomstances come in life and that sometimes it is a real battle before a winner is declaired.
I really appreciated how real life situations, teen pregnancy, medical illness and life situations were all addressed in the story. I am sure in most areas we are dealing with gangs and gang violence, yet there is also evidence that God is also at work in those same situations and with those in the gangs. I really loved how prayer was a big part of the story, from those who were taught as young children to pray to Lexi who called on the name of Jesus when she thought that Jag was going to shoot Dwayne, and God heard her call and answered her prayer and calmed Jag as well. I believe that was the beginning of the turning towards God, for Lexi.
I can't say because they both did such a wonderful job. They have been perfect for this series and I would love to hear them in many more.
I am not sure, but I would like a film series on the whole Angel Walking series. They are such wonderful books and Karen makes the charictors come alive with the help of the readers.
Just want to thank Karen for the wonderful books that she writes and especially this series which have been timely for me right now. I also want to thank Kirby and January for their presentation of all three books in this series. Great job.
"Very encouraging book"
Loved how it shows God at work in our lives. It helped to make the invisible visible in our minds!
"I didn't like the Ending (Predictable)."
I liked The Angels =).
No double Wedding !!
I liked It.
Yes .. Next Chapter (Real Life ) .
I think The Characters were Too Perfect 😒.
"Life Changing Fiction...it's the truth."
The way the spiritual relm is woven in the story so we truly grasp the importance of this in our lives.
The scene where Ramon was plotting to murder Lexi.
I would rather hear a true southern narrator than one trying to mimic a southern accent.
Always the moments when the angels are gathering for their mission. Those scenes are so powerful and provide such a vision!
Karen Kingsbury's tag line "Life Changing Fiction" is accurate. I've never one time read one of her novels (and I've read just about every one of them) and it didn't reach me to my core, encourage me in my walk with Christ, encourage me as a wife and mother and motivate me to be a better person. She has a way of making you believe her characters are real people and you are a part of their lives. I am always so, so, so, sad when a series ends because she always leaves me wanting more.
This was a great ending to a GREAT book series. So thankful for such uplifting books.
"Nice story but too much re-telling"
Loved the storyline but the characters were constantly retelling how they met, what they suffered. Enough already. We get it.
