Nice ending on the Westmorland serie. Guess it will continue with the Outlaws.
Nice finally getting the story of Bane & Christal. It's filled with romance, passion, crime, friendship and family- love this book
"Bad narration takes away from the book"
Bane was a little more realistic
long drawl and country twang from each character made my skin crawl
Crystal being so "stupid" and naïve
Is driving me crazy. It is so whiny I couldn't listen to this book. I had to revert to reading it instead of listening. Before others go crazy I purchased both versions because my eyes get tired and listening really helps. Another great book from Mrs Jackson but I could not enjoy the audible version. As a previous reviewer stated Band's was excellent but the Crystal voice prevented me from enjoying the audible version. THIS IS ANOTHER BJ MUST READ.
I've read the book and loved it. Unfortunately I didn't like the narrator's, female voices , they were not good at all. it took away from the story for me.
I loved the plot. It wasn't straight out about sex and love making. It was soul searching and caring
"AWESOME BOOK & STORY TELLING!!!"
Bane ranks among one of the best books by audiobooks.
When Bane stood up against the fake agents from Homeland Security and did not allow them to take Crystal, and then shot them, but didn't kill them.
All of the love scenes and when Bane and Crystal were in the Outlaws home facing the fake agents from Homeland Security.
The moment that moved me was when Crystal was able to read all of the letters and cards that Bane kept for her to read, and Crystal made a memory book for him to look at. Then they both looked at each others items together. I felt that was the moment when their love was definite.
This book was awesome. I really loved the narration by Sean Crisden. I would have preferred hearing a female voice to narrate the female voices instead of a male, but it was still great narration. I have listen to this book at least three times since my purchase. The character voice chosen for Bane was great. I LOVE BADASS BANE!!!
Particularly I did not care for the narrator's impression of Crystal. Other than that, this book was written in typical BJ fashion: EVERYBODY is fit, beautiful, wealthy, faithful, all the men are the women's firsts, they're always a step ahead of the "bad guy", well connected, successful...I mean this just isn't life lol. I will say her books are fun at best. Relatable? Not so much.
"Bane to the Rescue"
Mrs. Jackson does it again with another wonderful story of love, loyalty and longing. You will love Bane and Crystal's story. The highs, lows and suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat. Can't get enough of those Westmorlands.
"I love a happy ending."
I wasn't looking for nail-biting drama. This book had just enough intrigue to make it interesting and not get in the way of the romance and love and love making. Just what I wanted to curl up with
"Book vs Audible"
I have read the book and listened to the Audible version. Either way, this is a great book.
glad that Bane and Crystal finally got back together. wished it was read by avery glymph he seems to be more in tuned with the characters
