Susannah and Colette both join Lydia Goetz's new knitting class. Lydia's previous classes have forged lasting friendships, and this one is no exception. But Lydia and her sister, Margaret, have worries of their own. Margaret's daughter, Julia, has been the victim of a random carjacking, and the entire family is thrown into emotional chaos.
Then there's Alix Townsend. Her wedding to Jordan Turner is only months away - but she's not sure she can go through with it. Her love for Jordan isn't in question; what she can't handle is the whole wedding extravaganza engineered by her mentor, Jacqueline, with the enthusiastic cooperation of her future mother-in-law. A reception at the country club and hundreds of guests she's never even met - it's just not Alix.
Like everyone else in Lydia's knitting class, Alix knows there's a solution to every problem...and that another woman can usually help you find it!

"These involving stories along with Macomber's familiar characters continue the Blossom Street themes of friendship and personal growth that readers find so moving." (Booklist)
I bought this book as I like the knitting theme of the blossom street books. This was really nice easy listening although I did find the narrator really hard going (hence the 4 stars).
"Love my Audible and Love Debbie Macomber"
I joined Audible July 3 2012 I know have 44 titles 41 of which are Debbie Macomber, I can not seem to take out my ear buds
I downloaded the audio by mistake I wanted the book, as I love reading, but really enjoyed the audio book especially while driving. I would recommend this book to everyone, especially if you have read the first one.
Catching up with all the characters, new and old. Love the series so far.
Haven't got a favorite.
Back on Blossom Street
I thought this was very average. I wouldn't order another Blossom Street novel...
I have had this book for a long time and I finally listened to it because I was looking for a book that was lighthearted and one that didn't have killing or murder in it. This book fit the bill nicely, as do all of Debbie Macomber's books. I liked the narrator and she put good voices to the characters. The voices didn't sound fake or unrealistic like so many narrators do. I will have to find the next book in the series because I want to find out if Lydia and Brad get their baby adopted or not and how Collette and Christian get along as well as Alex and Jordan. You won't be disappointed if you use your credit to buy this book. It has knitting and floral shops and just a little bit of intrigue. Just enough to make it interesting but not so much as to make you sick to your stomach because it is so raw with real life history and murder.
"Very Gentle Listen"
This was very enjoyable. It makes me want to pick up knitting again! If you want a gentle read that is not intense listen to this. I look forward to the others in the series.
I really do like life on Blossom Street. I like the characters and the way their lives intertwine. I was not too fond of the narrator. She spoke too fast and I didn't like the way she tried to differentiate the voices. I will by more Debbie Macomber. I'm just not sure about the voice.
