Christy Nelson embarks on her new career in Real Estate by holding her first open house, at the wrong house, by accident, where she finds the nude sleeping body of a man.
Navy SEAL Kyle Lansdowne, on a mission to find his missing Team buddy, is staying at his buddy's home while investigating the disappearance. When someone breaks in, he takes protective measures. He doesn't expect to find that a beautiful young woman is responsible for his teammate's abduction.
What starts out as a meeting by accident becomes a hot affair neither one is ready for. Kyle is conflicted about getting Christy involved in his mission, but his hand is forced when he learns the same San Diego gang responsible for his teammate's abduction has kidnapped her.
Battling a cadre of dirty law enforcements hell-bent on getting military equipment, especially state-of-the-art firepower, Kyle is forced to admit that he would die to protect her.

All the elements are there, main characters, supporting characters, bit of action, sex BUT it doesn't gel. I don't think the narrator helps as he uses such inappropriate tones or inflections. Wasted credit.
"Sexy Miltary Read!!"
I read the book but loved the audible version even more. Loved J.D. narration, it was perfect for the story.Accidental Seal was the first military book I have read. But I have to say it won't be the last. I will be quickly picking up the next book in the series. This book was not only sexy but it portrayed real feelings that we all conflict within ourselves at times. The way we feel for someone when we know we shouldn't but can't help but to be in love with them. I just loved this story and how Kyle and Christy were always there for each other even when the odds were against them. I found Sharon Hamilton's writing amazing. Her descriptive writing makes the reading experience even more realistic. It was action packed and full of smokin' hot love scenes. The attraction between the two main characters is undeniable. There was also plenty of humor and sarcasm to go around. This author has quickly become a favorite of mine, and I will definitely be reading more of her work.
"Phew!!! Just a little nervous from all the action!"
I loved the story, it was full of action and romantic as hell. It kept me going, building up and hoping and...we'll it had me all the way. I have just seen that second book is now available and I AM ON IT!!!!!
Cal Lansdown because he is just so yummy although I really did like no nonsense Christie too.
His raw, sexy and amazing voice. He made the seals, especially Cal even more "MAN" if that is possible. He completed it for me. I think a voice like that might be illegal, lol.
I purchased it on offer but would have gladly used a credit for it.
"Best performance ever!!"
I love audiobooks and yet haven't found one with a performance as awesome as this one! This is definitely one you don't want to miss!
Now the story, it is a very good story with tons of action. The only thing I couldn't stand is that it is insta-love and our female character seems weak. I am a person that loves a strong character that doesn't make everything so easy for the guy. This chick is all but I love you and takes it every time he leaves her. Sorry but no I absolutely wanted to slap the chick!!! If this story had been set over more time and they met before the big incident or even the feelings developed over time I would have definitely said five stars but the insta-love, timeframe, and overly needy feeling from the female leave me not being able to. Believe me if these issues I have don't bother you, there is no way you could not love this book. If you are like me, I have to say the performance alone is friggin worth it.
"Wonderful to find a series to love"
Really liked the independent heroine who went after what she wanted. She proved to be what the hero couldn't resist.
Liked the development of the secondary characters. They were not just there for the sake of the plot but had depth.
"Nothing beats a SEAL"
I read this book a few years ago and I really can't decide which is better... The book or the audio.
Ms. Hamilton wrote a gripping story full of memorable characters, swimming with danger, and choking with romance.
Mr. Hart's vocal talents really flushed out the story and brought each of the characters to life!
Would I recommend this book absolutely!
"Mmmm Military Alpha Men ! Yes Please...."
Kyle - Spunky Alpha Navy SEAL. He is tough as nails when it comes to his job but when it comes to Christy, he turns putty in her hands. He is taken with her from the word go and constantly finds himself thinking about her, he just can't seem to stay away. He needs to stay focused so he is able to find his missing comrade/best friend. He knows if he can't keep his head in the game it could spell disaster for everyone. One thing leads to another and everything seems to start falling apart.
Christy has relocated from San Francisco to Sand Diego after her mother had died. She is embarking on a new career as a real estate agent with her first open house. Well, she has a slight mix up with the address and end ups walking into the wrong house where she finds a man sleeping. Naked. With eye's budging she thinks *Good God is he naked... and there it all starts.
Full of explosive action, gunfire, and lots of heat (in more ways than one) I found myself unable to stop listing to this book. You know it's a good book when you are reading and you find yourself making faces to go along with the scenes, and can I say, I can't wait to read the other teams' books! Narration was ok but could of been better, still very worthy of the credit spent :)
"Beautiful Livd Story narrated by JD Hart"
Sharon Hamilton is s fabulous author. Her military romances are my favorites.
Listening to JD Hart's voice is Heaven itself.
"A Promising Series"
This is the first Sharon Hamilton book I've read. It is also the first time I've listened to a book narrated by J.D. Hart. I thought Hart did an excellent job in his narration. He gave the characters distinct voices, making it easy to follow conversations. I'm happy that he is also the narrator for the rest of the SEAL Brotherhood series (it just doesn't feel right to me when individual books in a series are narrated by different people).
I very much enjoyed the story line as well. This is a cute romance with some very steamy sex scenes and action to boot. The story revolves around two things: the search for Armando and Kyle and Christy's relationship, which end up becoming more intertwined than Kyle would've liked. While having mystery, action and intrigue, the story never gets too heavy. (Note: the book does contain a bit of violence - though not much.) One thing that I thought was somewhat implausible, however, was how quickly Christy's feelings for Kyle shifted. She literally went from thinking of him as a sexy stranger who attacked her but seems to be a good guy to being irreparably in love with him within the time span of a day or two. They had sex and then, BAM, limitless devotion to Kyle (though she does struggle with it a bit). Regardless, I found the plot to be quite interesting and engaging.
The characters are colorful and well-rounded. I fell in love with Christy, Kyle, the other members of SEAL Team 3 (for which Kyle is the LPO), and Gunny (ex-military). In this book we definitely get a good taste of Fredo and Coop (and even a bit of Armando, though mostly indirectly). I can't wait to hear the stories of the other members of the SEAL team in future books. Overall, this was an enjoyable HEA read with no cliffhanger.
"Keeps you reading"
Exciting, suspenseful, sexy
This is my first by him, loved it.
What a way to start a relationship.
Love Donna Michaels books. Had read this one but enjoyed it more h\ving it read to me.
I love reading and listening to stories about warriors. That's what I was expecting. But the first scene in this book blew me out of the water. NOT what I was expecting in the least. It was hot, it was unanticipated, and it made me curious about the rest of the story. This was a homeland based SEAL story about finding a missing comrade and finding love at the same time. Totally delicious! The only odd note was the English accent given to one character that was changed halfway through. Otherwise the narrator did a decent job. Very enjoyable!
