Summary
Montana Territory, 1875: For Amelia Cooper, arriving in Broken Spur to become a mail-order bride for ex-Deputy Sheriff Brad Garrett is a daunting experience. She has a new job as a schoolteacher and a new husband who is dealing with a life-changing injury.
Amelia attempts to build a good, simple life for herself and Brad and finds that someone else in Broken Spur may need her support. Sam, a young boy in her class, seems to be having problems and Amelia feels duty-bound to help.
A story of friendship, love and family.
