Submission takes many forms in this collection of 69 short stories, from straining in bondage to taking a spanking, being put on display, and beyond. By turns bratty and worshipful, these submissives will go to great lengths to fulfill their naughtiest fantasies and are rewarded splendidly by their masters and mistresses. A student returns to show his former teacher who's really in charge, a photo shoot becomes an opportunity for erotic games, and a man revels in his wife's past as a former dominatrix. These brats, masochists, and hungry-for-sensation subs go above and beyond for the ones they adore, pushing themselves to new limits while their devious dominants put them through their paces. Edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel, these short stories sizzle with the tension of erotic power play, commands followed, and service willingly performed.

This belongs on an unpublished writer's blog, not in a book shop. It's extremely repetitive and lacks a lot that makes a book good. Some stories are slightly better than others and it may have been better if the narator wasn't so mechanical and unenthusiastic but a ton of coal doth not make a diamond.
"Submit to this fabulous collection"
Both are fantastic depending - the stories are the same, the choice of medium is up to you.
There are 69 short stories of Domination and submission - everyone will have their own favourite. I particularly enjoyed Beautiful by Teresa Noelle Roberts and The Shoot by DL King.
Rose Caraway is the consummate performer when it comes to reading erotica - fantastic!
Beautiful is a very moving - about a woman who has lived through cancer and is reclaiming her sexuality.
This is a truly amazing audio book. There are 69 - yes, really - stories of Dominance and submission by more than a handful of the top writers in erotica today including Kay Jaybee, Sommer Marsden, Annabeth Leong, Valerie Alexander, Salome Wilde, Teresa Noelle Roberts, D L King, Jade A Waters, Kristina Wright, Erzabet Bishop, Giselle Renarde, Rob Rosen, Donna George Storey and of course Rachel Kramer Bussel herself - to name but a few? You could listen to it for eight hours straight, submitting yourself to 69 consecutive acts of submission, or you could go for a story a day for 69 days in a row. Instant gratification or drip by sexy drip...
"Talk dirty to me"
I am a contributing author to this collection of stories and am more than happy to review it!
This collection was great on paper and just as great as an audiobook. The sections allow you to listen in large and small chunks of time which I really appreciate in an audiobook.
I listened to this a lot on my way to work. It felt naughty to walk down the street or take the bus listening to these sexy stories. I really enjoyed hearing my own story as well, it sounded even better than I imagined when I wrote it.
Rose Caraway does an awesome job making sure the stories sound steamy and mature. I've listened to people read erotica outloud that sounds laughable because of how the read and say "erotic words'. I would definitely listen to another book narrated by her.
Like they did on paper, some of the stories turned me on of course :)
"Kink and Rose Caraway enjoyable"
Never saw print version, audible with Rose Caraway doing narration was extremely well done. What I also enjoyed was that not all the "Submission" was women, there were men submitting as well. It was a nice mix of stories if this is a genre that you would enjoy.
This is an anthology of short stories, mixing both male and female submission. It's hard to compare to another book unless it's also an anthology of short stories in this genre.
She was delectable doing all the characters. Rose Caraway has a way with narrating EROTICA. I've listened to her narrate several Erotic pieces and they were all enjoyable to me.
Since there were 69 short stories, it was easy to stop and start at my leisure.Since I enjoy ALL TYPES OF EROTICA.......this was just one more I can enjoy again when I feel like a naughty listen.
This is not for everyone. Submission is consensual, and also part of many peoples fantasies. (Just because a person enjoys reading Murder mysteries, doesn't make them a Murderer) Same for Erotica, most sensual part of any person is their brain. If you enjoy Erotica, you may enjoy this as well.
I have not seen the print version.
Each of the 69 stories were yummy bites of the BDSM world.
Rose Caraway's narration was masterful, (I guess Mistressful, LOL). Her characterizations of each of the characters make the stories easy to follow.
I enjoyed this title immensely! Thanks you Rachel and Rose for the different looks into the fun of submission!!!
"Short, Sexy, Erotica That is Not to be Missed!"
Each story is short and sweet. I was able to listen to a story or two on my commute into town and than home again, without getting too involved in lengthy chapters!
Her sexy, sultry, soothing voice really enhances each story.
An anthology not to be missed!
The opening story, I Want to Feel You, set a tone for the book. I love reading about spankings and such, but I really enjoy getting a peek into the mental aspects of BDSM, and there's plenty of both in this book. The way the bottom telling that story laid out exactly what she wants her top to do was incredibly hot to me.
The letter writer in Dear Sir, another one where a woman is confessing her deepest fears to her Sir and how much love and trust it took to overcome them. There was such intimacy to the story, and Rose made it so beautiful, I listened to it several times.
Along with the more intense stories, I liked the humor of a sunbathing sub being caught off guard in Where The Sun Don't Shine.
Yes, these stories are short, some almost a tease, but a good kind of tease. I loved wondering what would happen next to these bottoms.
Yes, it is a great escape into fantasy...
Everything it is SEXTASTIC,I love that it is not afraid to push the boundaries a great escape for adults.
Love Rose and listen to her KMQ podcast. Rose and her husband Dave aka Big Daddy do an incredible production job for lurid listeners - I became hooked and wanted more. She introduces new authors, writes her own and narrates for others and that is how I cam upon this audio book.
Too many to tell...if you want some spice or just an exciting diversion look no further.
"So much hotter than Fifty Shades of Grey"
I liked the variety. Yes, there were some stories that were hotter than others for me, but I most appreciated that these stories were so different from one another AND that not all the bottoms were women. As a writer, of course Writer's Block spoke to me - who wouldn't want that kind of kinky encouragement? These stories are clearly fantasies, and with Rose Caraway's perfect voice, they took me away into fantasy land instantly.
I never got bored because the stories move along at a great pace. Plus they gave me lots of ideas I had never considered before in terms of BDSM.
Fitting Assignment - I've thought about it every time I've shopped for lingerie since hearing it! It's about something I would never do but can definitely enjoy hearing about.
As a newish Kiss Me Quick's podcast listener, I found my need for new stories outstripped the available stories rather quickly. And while I originally put the book on while doing some repetitive work late at night, my concentration was soon straying to... less productive endeavors.
Rose's reading is very enjoyable, and the selection of stories excellent. Listening to the book proved a thoroughly satisfying experience, and created curiosity in places that previously inspired a raised eyebrow.
"Loved the variety"
I wasn't sure what to expect with this audiobook, and especially wasn't sure if it would be "too much" for me in terms of the BDSM. But what was great to me is that even the stories that weren't ones I'd normally pick up were sexy and short. There were all sorts of things that I didn't expect, like how shopping could turn into a kinky activity.
The variety of types of stories. They weren't all about one type of submission, but lots of ways it can happen.
I've listened to her podcast. This is just as good!
No, although I did wind up listening to all the stories at one point or another, but then went back and listened to my favorites. They are short enough I could listen to a few while getting ready in the morning and then more at night.
If you're curious like me but uncertain, this is worth a try.
