After a year of lusting after his sexy employee, werewolf pack-leader Grant broke his no-involvement-with-humans rule and made a move on Talia. A month later the sex is still red hot and everything between them is perfect. Or so he thought. Until the night he shows up at her place expecting their usual ritual of mind-blowing sex and finds out she has other plans. And they don't include him.
When Talia announces she's tired of being his last priority, Grant realizes he might lose the only woman he's ever cared about. He has to do something fast to fix their relationship, but she's completely unaware that he's not human. He's not above using sex to bind her to him, but when she wants more than that he has a risky decision to make. If he admits the truth he risks not only his heart, but the safety of his pack and the existence of all supernatural beings as well.

I enjoyed this book, even in the short space of time this goes on for you get to know and love the main characters. it's a fast but grate read.
"Short and Sexy"
This book was just ok to me. I really wanted to love it but alas I liked it instead. It was your average short, shifter sexy book. I just didn't feel like anything actually happened. The sexy scenes, writing and narration were all good. I just wanted more from the story.
"Short Tease but interesting"
Brief intro to a new pack but not enough character development to make it satisfying. Seem like a nice couple but would like more dialogue. No humor. The bounty hunter seems like a good next story.
"Another GREAT listen by Katie Reus! <3'd it!!"
HOT HOT HOT!! OMG! In this short but satisfying listen penned by Katie Reus aka Savannah Stuart she totally manages to pack not only some heart twisting moments, but some smokin' hawt love scenes that'll have you reaching for your ice water! (Or you man!)
I loved Grant ~ the tough Alpha, who is responsible for so much and so many, has so much trouble with Talia, his one true love. He's been taking her for granted...but she's DONE allowing that! Talia gives this tough Alpha a true run for his money...and I enjoyed every second of it!
Once again I have to tell you how very, very much I love Katie Reus's writing! She can pack so much emotion, so many thrills & chills into a novella that you get the feeling you've read a full length book. I always look forward to the next book in her series, and this is yet another series she's hooked me on!!
If you haven't tried her out yet, DO!! This is the perfect place to start!!
And the narration for Taming The Alpha was fabulous!!
Jeffrey Kafer is a wonderful narrator. He really brings a book to life. And I love his voice
Jeffrey Kafer is my favorite Audible Narrator. I love every character he reads.
"Short w/lots of sex ~ who's complaining."
It's a short story, but for the limited time you get to read/listen to them - they have sex & even make love several times. It is typical in that within only a short time both the leading lady & the strong Alpha decide that they are both in love & want to commit to each other for the next 1000 years & live happily ever after.
Possibly, it's a nice little romance, with a fresh story and likeable characters.
I love Jeffrey's voice, and I'd buy more stories just to have him read to me! Lol
While I enjoy a little sexual tension, the writer takes it a little too far. Some sex is okay, but these stories could be a little better with a little more character development, and less stuff I'm embarrassed that Jeffrey has to read aloud, although he does a great job of it!
I love paranormal books, and this is one of the best ones. I love that it has romance, and humor. The narrator was great and kept my attention.
When Grant has to confess that he is actually a shifter and then shifts for her to prove it.
I have listened to several books that Jeffrey has narrated and I love them all.
I love the humor and the characters interaction with each other. I love this authors other books and this one was just a good as her other ones. I highly recommend reading and listening to this book.
It is about shifter's in the world of humans. How they work without being known per say. I would recommend this book to a friend because of that reason alone....though I wished it were a little bit longer lol.
The whole book was memorable, but I enjoyed the parts where Rex appeared. I also found where Grant was attacked was memorable..it brought strain into his and Talia's relationship..since she did not know what happened to Grant.
Jeffrey was awesome with all characters, but I supremely enjoyed his take on Rex. Had me laughing.
Yes, I love a good shifter book!
"A Different Kind of Love"
Grant is the leader of the wolf pack. He is use to others doing as he wishes, but when he becomes involved with Talia that changes. She doesn't put up with any nonsense. How can he tell this human what he is? Will she stay with him? Savannah Stuart/Katie Reus does a wonderful job! Her characters are so well written that I was drawn into their story. I cared for them. Talia is beautiful, intelligent and very feisty. She won't be second best in Grant's life. Grant is a powerful Alpha, but he loves this human and is fearful of losing her. I was touched when Grant showed Talia his wolf form. He showed her his love by making himself vulnerable to her. This is a well written story with interesting secondary characters that I want to know more about. I enjoyed Taming the Alpha even more by listening to the audio version. The narration by Jeffrey Kafer enhanced my enjoyment by adding emotion to the character's dialogue.
"Super Hot Alpha"
at the very top !!
When Grant has to tell Talia what he is
He brings life to the story.
