Earth is all but dead. With meteors exploding in their midst, the shuttle Grace boards takes flight in a last ditch effort to save human lives. With little food, water and eight stowaways the situation is volatile while they race to the new planet, Ulsy. A wormhole and a crash are their undoing.
While fleeing into the strange surroundings on an even stranger planet two of Grace's shuttle pilots are killed by a massive ebony creature with fangs as white as ivory. Rask is a full blooded Castian warrior who thinks his planet has been stormed. When he comes across the little being that cowers from him he is intrigued. After 400 years and virtual immortality Rask thought he had seen everything.
When the being before him declares herself to be a human female he is beyond amazed. Females have been extinct as long as he can remember. But there is no denying her sweet scent. One inhaled breath is all it takes to drop his shield and reveal the muscular tanned male beneath. Rask had thought his armor impenetrable. One touch from a slender hand and he realizes he is powerless against the tiny human he must have.

yes! the characters have voices and tone! I love it!
the shock factors of the first few chapters, a bit um inappropriate in some ways but its such a grate story!
Oh man I loved the whole thing!
yes I cringed quite a lot with disguised and shock but I was routeing for the characters!
this is part of a series so I suggest read all of them! I am was hooked and will read them again!
"Listened through 25%, read the rest"
didnt like the narrator and how it was delivered... this is not an extraorninary book with lost of depth and character.. its just an average read, but sometimes an average read become a great one if the narrator is not annoying half the time. Ive lisneted to audiobooks with british accent ( or is it Australian?) before and I never had any problems with it. its just the way it was read, i couldn't put my finger on it. in the end I just stopped and read the book instead... O well I gambled one credit and lost...
I thought Rask being 400 years old, hed be more worldly and experienced, assertive and knows what he was doing... in the end Grace got a 13 year old boy in a mature mans body... mature may he look like hes still a boy inside and that is a total turn off... the premise of the book isn't something to write abouth either...
Sorry but no..
Sadly I wont buy the next in the series.. isnt worth collecting...
