Please change narrator!

Story line is good and I love this author! But please change narrator! She ruined the book! She presented miller like up tight idiot and Livy like scared, screaming and stupid girl. Also her voice is too old to narrate young characters. Will read third book, instead of listening. Disappointing.

Excellent Story

This is an excellent follow on from One night promised. The story has so much depth to it and it is read so well by Edita Brychta as usual. I'm looking forward to the final instalment to see how this story will end.

Not for me

I didn’t enjoy this book at all, the plot is infuriating. It started off so good. It’s an abusive relationship & she comes across as having no brain. Could of gave up half way through and know what the ending was going to be. Don’t recommend.

brilliant

oh wow, it's been an emotional roller coaster being back with Livy and Miller in part 2 of their epic story. I've had a lump in my gut throughout just waiting to hear about all the obstacles tryingto keep them apart. Onto part 3...

lame story and even worse narration

I struggled with the first book. found the story was so long winded and boring. found the scenes all lacked passion. basically the first book could have been reduced by 3 hours and it not make any difference. the last chapter was ok so I thought maybe it's a slow burner. maybe book 2 will redeem it. but this book was even worse than the first book. the flow to the story was poor the narrators voices are the voices in my opinion of a 50 year old Miller and makes the book sound like it was set 20 years ago. i normally persevere with books that are in a series but I dont think I'll waste anymore of my life on these books. so wildly far fetched it has my eyes rolling.

One night denied

Very complex story that has you listening to the end , not a story to listen to in the car as you get to carried away within the story being told but definitely one to be at home with.

Meh

I’m not enjoying this series nearly half as mush as the this man series, the storyline is a bit wishy washy and its a lot of the same stuff happening on repeat. I’m not sure I’ll buy the last book as this second book hasn’t left me feeling like I want to know more which is a shame.

Will need perseverance!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The narrator is terrible and just goes on and on and on........ the story not really improving.

What could Jodi Ellen Malpas have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Fast flowing story,

How did the narrator detract from the book?

totally ruined the story, Nan's voice was painful!
