When you land in hot water, swim for safety - or let the fire burn. An Out of Uniform Story.
Claire McKinley has just experienced every bride's nightmare. The groom is a no-show, and now she must face 500 guests alone. Furious and humiliated, Claire seeks help from the most unlikely candidate - her almost-brother-in-law, who promptly whisks her away to his apartment in San Diego, where she can recover her pride in peace and quiet. Dylan Wade is no fan of Claire's, but no way can he leave the jilted bride in her time of need. Bringing her home seems like a good idea - until he remembers his new roommate. Dylan's relationship with Aidan is... complicated. And with Claire thrown into the mix, life becomes even more... complicated. Claire is blindsided by her attraction not only to Dylan, but also to Aidan, a man she's just met. Soon they're caught up in an all-consuming sexual storm they can't fight even if they wanted to. Yet Claire wonders if it can last, or if she's just setting herself up for more heartache.
Warning: This audiobook is very dirty. Menage a trois and man-on-man dirty. Graphic-language and explicit-sex dirty. Basically? Dirty. You've been warned.

I loved this series, it made a nice change from billionaire meets small town, possibly damaged, girl! This book is definitely hotter than ever covering a topic I've no experience in so I can't say how accurate it is but as a work of fiction it was seriously hot & one I return to regularly, as I do the whole series.
Narrator was not my favorite. Made the story difficult to listen to.
The story line. Couldn't finish it because of the narrator but bough the book.
No I really did not appreciate her performance.
No one they all seemed essential at least with what I got through.
"Wow, you need ice to cool down after this listen!!"
this story has it all. Alpha males hot sex and a believable story line. Ladies this book will melt your sock off Lol.. Narrator did a decent job, worth a credit
I love this book, this book was the best book I have listened to in a long time. The story was great, the narrator was great. oh my gosh if I can find a book another book like this one. it well-written and the sex scenes were incredible, loved it
"Hot and heart warming.!"
This was a beautiful story of misunderstandings, prejudice, acceptance, devotion, and true love. I did not want it to end!
"Horrible narration, horrible plot, waste of money and time"
Out of my, 500+ audible collection this book ranks within the to 10 worst books. Horrible, horrible narration, I have a headache from listening to this narrator attempt to create multiple character voices not to mention her trying to put on a sexy voice. I think my grade schooler could come up with better voices. There might have been some redemption to the story if there was a dual narration.
Moving on to the storyline. I get the appeal of what Elle Kennedy was trying to create but her creativity was seriously lacking. Characters were shallow, no depth or detail. Some of the book was confusing like why does she introduce eight people all in one setting when maybe two or four would do. If she had less characters she could have worked toward going more indepth about their personalities. The other frustrating part wew the steamy scenes starting with the two men. Yhe men almost degrade themselves with the words they use, not always but most of the time. Again, all of these scenes were shallow. The final issue is thatall the little tid bits and subplots tidy up real nicely if she spent less time on wrapping up each issue she could have spent more time on personalites.
Dont waste a credit, money or a minute of your time!
"BEST, LOVE STORY OF ALL IVE READ"
Best hottest & most hard won true love ménage I can't even describe how much I enjoyed this story! The hesitation & confliction in most menages usually pushes one person out but this was a perfect balance & HOTHOTHOT
"It's definitely Hotter Than Ever"
I really enjoy Elle Kennedy's books. She knows how to tell a really great story and keep the listeners attention. I look forward to listening to many more of her books!
"Good Erotic Book"
I have read all books in Elle Kennedy's, Out of Uniform, series. It is easily in my top five favorite series, and I am so very grateful to Elle for writing so many relationships into the series. I also appreciate that she shares news about the former couples that we have read about. Honestly and sincerely, this story, Hotter Than Ever, is indeed everything the title wants the story to live up to. There is a fair warning that the story is "dirty, with a ménage a trios relationship, dirty language, female on male, male on male, male, male, female, and, oh yeah, dirty!" This latest story that Elle Kennedy gives us in her perfect series of a group of close Navy SEALS and their love lives, clearly outshines the rest! Yet, the all have gotten five stars from me! The story begins with the wedding of Christopher Wade (brother of Navy SEAL, Dylan Wade) and his girlfriend, Claire McKinley. As the wedding is scheduled to begin within a matter of minutes, Chris decides to tell Dylan that he has no intention of going along with the wedding, and Dylan has to be the one to break the news to Claire and the guests. So angry with his older brother's cowardice, Dylan takes it upon himself to rescue Claire from the Bay Area out of reach from family, friends, co-workers and anyone else wanting a reason or offering sympathy. At the spur of the moment, Dylan whisks his former sister-in-law to be off to his home in San Diego where he lives with his Navy friend turned lover, that he shares a home with. Given a few days of grief, rest and much thought, Claire begins to acknowledge the attraction she is facing with both men. What happens after that includes personal stories, rejection and maybe even the "L" word. Which is the word I use to describe Hotter a Than Ever...LOVE!!
Katie McAble was good with the delivery of the story
"5 Hotter than Ever Stars"
This was a re read for me; I didn't really know that till I was into it I guess I read it early 2015.
I call this poetic justice. See there isn't a bro code when you treat a woman like Dylan’s brother did.
So, when Dylan is asked to tell Claire there won’t be a wedding moments before the ceremony. I say all’s fair in love and war.
And let’s throw in another sexy man for good measure.. Yep this is a menage style romance my favorite kind. MMF baby!
Dylan and Aidan have a relationship, but they both look outside of it for a female from time to time because they both know that they are not quite enough for one another. They both crave a female, so when Claire gets added to the mix. Things start to get interesting.
I really liked this book the first time around but I am changing my rating to a 5 star it’s even better the second time.
Also this is the first time I listened and I very much enjoyed Katie McAble’s performance. I think she did a fabulous job and I would listen to more of her Audio’s.
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*
"hard to listen to"
the narrator was a bit too over the top with the inflections in every sentence. it was like listening to a teenager gossip
