Grind (verb): to weaken or destroy gradually.
Macy Carrington is not the woman I once thought her to be.
What she does not allow her heart to feel, she gives with her body. The sex between us is explosive and depraved. I've done things with her that would never have crossed my wildest imagination, and I can't ever seem to get enough.
But now I want more from her. I want to figure out her dark secret, expose it, and then help her to heal from it. I know, without a doubt, that Macy is capable of love, and I will grind her down until I make her accept the truth of it.
Grind (verb): to wear down, polish, or sharpen by friction.
Cal Carson is not the man I once thought him to be.
Strong, determined, sexy as hell, and a beast in the bedroom. He is every woman's fantasy.
He is my fantasy.
But no matter how hard Cal tries to grind me down, my heart and secrets are mine and mine alone.

Book 2 in Cal and Macy's story does not disappoint. Combustible sex scenes, highly interesting storyline, and even a little tenderness. Then we have the surprise ending, intrigue at its most entertaining, and I know I'm going to be reading book 3 this evening. Just like book 1 the story is told mainly from Cal's POV (he is just THE perfect book boyfriend), it also still has Macy's diary entries which just make me need to know more about what makes her tick. I'm sure that Cal will stand by Macy no matter what, the question is, will Macy let Cal in? I sure hope so. I just love Sawyer Bennett's writing.
"No Hard Limits?!?!?"
There was a whole lot of sexcapades going on in Grind so I'm going to just ask -- "Who goes to a sex club without setting hard limits?" I love your writing Sawyer Bennett, you certainly know how to keep things interesting. Cal and Macy are just so interesting and passionate that I just can't stop listening, even when I need to work. The slow reveal of Macy's demons are both frustrating and exciting. The cliffhanger improved in this book and while I'm not happy that this is a 3 book series -- I'm in it until the end.
The narrators did a really good job keeping me on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what happens next.
Cal and Macy's story is definitely worth a credit maybe even two credits, but three credits are a bit much for this series.
I love the story line especially how Cal is brutally honest but sensible enough to know how far to push. Finally a character who is open to new things but has self control and still a little freaky. Rated it a 5 because Macy is messed up but even with a destructive self image she is still aiming to be strong.
"Love Sawyer Bennett"
Awesome second book going in two my 3 , my second time buying her books not desappointed at all the narrators their awesome did it excellent job 💜💜💜
