Summary
In the final instalment of the trilogy that has left a whole generation breathless, E. L. James brings the fiery story of Christian and Ana to a truly thrilling crescendo.
Please note: This audiobook contains graphic adult content
Romantic, liberating and totally addictive, the Fifty Shades trilogy will obsess you, possess you and stay with you forever.
When Ana Steele first encountered the driven, damaged entrepreneur Christian Grey, it sparked a sensual affair that changed both their lives irrevocably. Ana always knew that loving her Fifty Shades would not be easy, and being together poses challenges neither of them had anticipated. Ana must learn to share Grey's opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own integrity or independence; and Grey must overcome his compulsion to control and lay to rest the horrors that still haunt him.
Now, finally together, they have love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of infinite possibilities. But just when it seems that they really do have it all, tragedy and fate combine to make Ana's worst nightmares come true....

Thought provoking
The fact that the Fifty Shades series is laced with erotic connotations in my opinion somehow overshadowed the tenant of the story which is that of an abused and neglected child who the impact of the abused suffered shaped the man he became . Being in a profession that deals with this kind of issues I totally get Christian and his maladaptive coping mechanisms though not condoning his ways. Glad he found freedom eventually. Loved every bit of the series as it gave better meaning to the whole storyline despite its TV adaptation storyline.

Good Holiday read
What did you like most about Fifty Shades Freed?
The Charactors and story developed further from 50 shades Darker, the explicit part of the writing became less obvious and the story of the emotional relationship became more important
Who was your favorite character and why?
Christian Grey because his character development was a lot more intense and he became more and more likable as the story developed
What about Becca Battoe’s performance did you like?
She gave each of the charactors a voice of their own, you could tell who she was playing at which points. She also portrayed the explicit parts without any obvious embarrassement and without making it pornographic.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
2 areas: during Anna's unconsciousness, hearing the fly on the wall interactions between Christian and his relatives and near the end when he accepted the future he and Anna were to enter into with a family
Any additional comments?
Enjoyed that the story line evolved and the books didn't remain just about their bedroom antics. Although the book wasn't a master piece - lots of repletion of phrases - it was a good beach holiday read
