"audio book for Enlightened Sex"
...not really what I was expecting...certainly not much about sex. It seemed like it was geared toward people who are already very open and soulful about sex...worth listening to the fist third and last third though as the author gets very repetitive and boring in the middle. It was ok, good if you are already in a loving and spiritual relationship, but kind of useless if you are trying to enter a new relationship "well-trained".
Having studied spirituality and interpersonal relations for sometime now, I’ve never found a more direct and resonant view on these important topics than Deida’s. This book will expand your understanding of what draws you to anther person and teaches methods for rejuvenating existing relationships. An important book.
"Don't waste time or money"
Unfortunately I can't give this zero stars and still express my opinion. The only good thing I can say about this is that I didn't pay for it (freebie with my new music player.) I listened to the whole thing because I thought surely it's going to get better and sometimes the nugget is at the end, but alas, I should have quit. Let me give you the whole thing in 5 minutes: listen to "Affair Of The Heart" by Rick Springfield, then do some focused breathing for the rest of the 5 minutes while telling yourself "the masculine wants the feminine, and the feminine wants to be wanted." There you go - enlightened sex!
The author dwells on the obvious and puts forth no depth of insight. It amazes me this ever got published.
"A must have marriage guide!"
David Deida has such a wonderful comforting voice, he drew me in from the first paragraph, very very helpful information, have a listen while snuggled up with a cup of tea infront of the fireplace in a cold winter afternoon, and enjoy. OR put on speaker and listen with your Mate!
"It's what you wish you knew about sex long ago."
Deida goes to the core of what sex is about so that you really know what you are doing and what you might want to do better.
"Listen with Caution"
Most of us are not enlightened masters so i think there are some dangerous advice for the average reader!!!!
