Men ruin women...especially men like Chase Davis. Good looking, intelligent, rich, and powerful - I never stood a chance. When he entered my life, I was finally healing after having barely survived the men of my past. My soul sisters told me to take a chance, to let someone in. I let him in, and he surrounded me with a light so bright that I was blinded by the truth.
Men don't ruin women. They devour them in every way that counts.

this has been the very first book that I've really thoroughly enjoyed in a while!!
"A really good read/listen if a bit rushed at times"
This story had a lot of similarities to 50 Shades but was still a good read/listen. The narrator is enjoyable and does a great job of switching it up for the different characters!
loved this book just wish I could find other two books on audio just awesome
"Kind Of Drug Out"
The book really didn't get into anything until maybe the last 2 hours. Then the cliffhanger.... It is like many other books I have listened to. I still enjoyed it. Sex scenes were explicit, so if you don't like that then certainly not for you.
"GREAT STORY, TOO CLOSE TO 50 SHADES, THOUGH!"
There are similarities to the Fifty Shades series, but Ms. Carlan did managed to put her own spin into it. Gillian, the female character, is broken down from a domestic relationship and comes in with baggage, while Chase, plays her "knight in shining armani". They'd quickly fell in love, and the rest go from there. Then it got an interesting twist where now there is a stalker involved. Is it an ex or someone who wants to drive her out of Chase's life?
It was nice that the book had a study fill with life challenges mixed in with z bit of fairy endings to be for the main characters but I found that the pronunciation in Spanish were done poorly. I did understand the great fiery spirit of Maria and liked her character.
"She needs more therapy"
The female character still needs therapy . The "has it all" male character is pure teen fantasy. It's was hard to relate to any of the characters and the story is predictable. My guess the evil villain is the second boyfriend- just saying .
Back to epic fantasy
"This was good. Not fifty shades but still worth a listen"
I enjoyed the story. It had some good parts in it.. I'll listen to the others.
