I was standing at the bar and waiting for a friend when it happened.
When my life changed forever.
She strutted inside with her head held high with grace, not pretentiousness. With legs that reached her neck, and an hourglass frame perfect for gripping, she got me hard instantly.
And those green eyes got the rest of my body hard too.
Mistaking me for the man who cheated on her friend, she walked up to me, those green eyes burning with fire, and she slapped me so hard my skin bubbled.
And damn, it felt good.
She slapped me two more times, using her petite size to gain momentum as her palm crushed into my skin.
I never wanted it to end.
I'd never met a woman who made pain feel so good. I'd never met a woman as strong as myself. I'd never met a woman I wanted to dominate more.
I'd never met a woman like her.
My next submissive.

It's a CLIFFY. And not even a little bit. Like, all the way. Nothing irritates me more than not knowing a book has a cliffhanger going in. So I hope the next book is released soon.
But let's ignore that for the moment. It was a great listen. I felt the slow burn but it was still eventful while you felt the burn building. It does follow a lot of the same storylines as a lot of other BDSM books, but I like those and I like this one. Not an issue for me.
Michael Ferraiuolo is not my favorite because his slight lisp makes his voice not as alpha as I would like. But I have listened to enough books by him, that it doesn't bother me anymore. Lia Langola is one of my favorites and she doesn't disappoint at all.
"anyone can change!! I loved it.."
I give it 5 stars.. you will not pit this book down.so intriguing and romantic
"Reads like a 50 shades rip off."
To many similar aspects to be worth the read. Characters weren't interesting enough to get behind. Not all broken people turn to M/S and not all involved in M/S are broken. Not much substance in the story to get me interested in the next book.
"It's was okay"
The story was okay it's could have been better more drama..
I'm sorry but one of the narrators was not that great she sounded more like a guy then a girl. I know was trying to sound very strong woman but it didn't sound like it.
This book was o-mazing!!! My only complaint was the narrator for Rome...please please find someone with a less deep voice and something more sexy!!! Can't wait to read the second book!!
