Publisher's Summary

One moment, six years ago. The night she made the world around me so much more than just a blur. Now it's the catalyst that threatens to tear us apart. Our happily was supposed to be ever after. So why do I feel like it's slipping through my fingers? How can one moment, when our world seemed so right, resurface and cause our perfect life to spiral out of control? I can't lose her; she's my checkered flag.

    Story
    "very heavy story"

this was my 6th read in this series. I LOVED the trilogy of Colton and Rylee but this was just too heavy of a listen for me. I realize that it was very real and probably needs more attention to this condition but it is also very sad. I like a little drama in the books that I listen to which makes them interesting and the happy ending even better. this was just very depressing for me and made me sad. the beginning of the book was good and the very end. It seems like most of the book was about the depression. I wish there would have been more 'happy' chapters at the end. I guess I may seem shallow, but if I want sad and depressing, I'll listen to the news. I very rarely give a bad review but I wish I wouldn't have listened to this. Looking forward to happier subject matter in the next 2 books

    "Awesome finale!"

I am so happy with this final book. It was awe inspiring with all the ups and downs that really happens in life.
I would recommend these books to everyone I know that loves to read as well as the ones that don't.

    Best books ever!

"KB ACED AN EMOTIONAL HEA FOR 2 LOVED CHARACTERS"

This book is only for those fans who have already listened to Colton and Rylee's story and, as we catch up with them, they're still very happy, deeply in love and they are about to be even happier..... overjoyed infact. Although they're still madly in love with each other someone from their past is out to destroy them and hopefully tear them apart - which adds drama, anguish and intrigue to the story. There is also angst when one of her precious boys is to be sent to live with his no good druggie of an Uncle which brings about heartache and regression of his spirits.... and Rylee is unable to help.

Then it loses it's pace slightly when Rylee becomes depressed as one thing after another goes hopelessly wrong and she is in a very dark place - but Colton's there by her side as the months pass looking after her, supporting her and doing all he can to bring his wife back to him. It's a heartbreaking look into an all too overlooked mental condition. Dual POV's and the narration, as always, adds depth and life to all the main characters throughout the passion-filled, frightening, heartbreaking, joyous, frustrating or romantic situations they find themselves plunged into.

Worth a credit? I've loved this series, it was brilliantly written, awesomely narrated and yes it's creditworthy BUT only as an addition to the previous books.

"Great book to wrap up the story of this couple"
Would you listen to Aced again? Why?

Yes because there are so many great parts to this story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Aced?

When the boys took a vote for Zander to be adopted

    Which scene was your favorite?

All of the scenes with Colton and Ace

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh, cry, and angry at times, it was quite the rollercoaster ride.

    Any additional comments?

I listened to the audiobook of this story and it was wonderful, the narrators Sean Crisden , Tatiana Sokolov are so great just like they have been with this whole series. I had many emotions while listening to this story, at times I was so angry at Rylie, how she was acting toward Colton when all of the trouble started, angry at Teddy for not making things better for Rylie, and then my heart broke for what Rylie was going through after the birth and then in return what was happening to Colton because of it, I cried so many times. I loved everything about Ace and of course I loved hearing from all of the side characters. Colton's father is such a great man and the love he had for Colton no matter what just gave me the chills. The "boys" are so sweet and it broke my heart the things they went through during this story too but I love what happens in the end. The epilogues, yes there are two are just perfect, so beautiful. I hope we get to read more about this couple and Ace in the next books coming up in this series.

    Story
"A Book That is Easy to Get Lost In"

I loved this series from the first book. Colton and Rylee's story is one for the ages. Colton a sexy bad boy who's number one concern is to be the man that Rylee deserves. And Rylee a good girl who's only concern is to be the thing that Colton needs to fight the darkness. What if the tables turn and Colton has to be her champion? Will he deliver? You'll have to listen and find out.

I loved revisiting this world that K. Bromberg has created. These characters that I have fallen in love with. I loved it all. This book was beautifully performed making it hard to leave my car when I got to my destination. I had to know what happened next. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.

    Story
"The Colton & Rylee we've come to love"

It's always amazing to see the growth of a character, or at this point Colton is as real as the person sitting next to me. I've always been in awe of Colton and his strength to endure anything and everything he's faced and he's no different in Aced. He shows us just how far he's come within the series, what kind of husband he's evolved into, and just how ready he is to be a father.

Rylee's story is just as touching to the heart. Bromberg has a way of writing true experiences and emotions that really tug at every string of the reader's emotions. Together, these two have fought many battles, weathered some big obstacles, and endured plenty of their own twists and turns. But their relationship is so strong that it becomes a reckoning force. Marriage isn't easy, and years into wedded bliss is no exception, this couple is tested again in Aced.

I savored every word and moment in this book. Colton and Rylee are very special to me, and I enjoyed all of the ups and downs they see in this book. I was raw with emotion once finished, but couldn't say anything less than how much I LOVED this story. Get the tissues ready, you might need a few.

As always, the narrators do a fabulous job bringing these characters to life.

"Wow...Another Hit in the Driven Series"
What made the experience of listening to Aced the most enjoyable?

I love this series and can't think of better narrators than Sean Crisden and Tatiana Sokolov. Their voices soothe the soul. I find myself looking for other books narrated by them.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Colton, of course. Even though men like this don't exist, one can hope.

What does Sean Crisden and Tatiana Sokolov bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Their voices, understanding of the characters make listening to them a joy.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

In a world where greed and evil are ever present, love and understanding really can conquer all.

    Any additional comments?

I hope this series goes on and on and the narrators continue to bring them to life.
