"Outstanding suspense mystery!"
Where Are You Now? was released in 2008 soon after Mary Higgins Clark's 80th birthday. This wonderful suspense thriller is as good of any of her earlier novels. The publisher's summary gives a good synopsis of the story, so I will nor repeat it here. Narration is excellent.
"Where are you now?"
I have read or listened to every book she has ever written, even co-written. This was my all time favorite! Could not stop listening, she is brilliant.
Great ending. I did not see it coming. Will find more of Mary Higgins Clark books to read.
"traditional Mary Higgins Clark style"
amoumg the top. Narrator was good and clear!! good story line
Mac .. I'm not going to give it away
No, I haven't. But she is good
The ending was very rewarding after all the anxiety
Yes, when the answer finally came as to what became of her brother
I lovede the book and will read more of them because the suspence is so thrilling
Yes. I would recommend it because it keeps your attention as the story unfolds.
Not really. But it did keep me interested and curious.
I just love M.H.C. and a good who-done-it. It didn't disappoint.
Good story, but the narrator certainly could not cope with the large cast of characters, and was unable to adapt her voice to suit the story.
"Good plot, annoying narrator"
I liked the suspense. I liked the story line and twist that Mrs Clark always delivers.. A bit far fetched but hey, it's fiction.. The narrator annoyed me to no end... She was pretty decent when it came to speaking as the male characters but when speaking for Carolyn. I could hardly stand it.. She did not speak in a manner you'd expect an attorney would speak. She sounded so timid and overly sweet even when she was supposed to be angry..
"Could not stop listening!"
It met all of my expectations!
I enjoyed the narrator and the different voices that she performed.
Exciting & suspenseful story!
