No one needs to push Nikki Boyd to excel on the Tennessee Missing Person Task Force. The case of her own missing sister, still unsolved after 10 years, is the driving force in her work. When a Polaroid photo of a missing girl shows up at a crime scene, Nikki quickly recognizes similarities to the past. The closer she gets to the abductor, the more she feels that this case is getting personal and that she is not the hunter at all - but actually the one being hunted.
With this explosive first book in the new Nikki Boyd Files, Lisa Harris takes listeners on a fast-paced pursuit of justice that will have them holding their breath until the heart-stopping finish.

This is an excellent thriller by Lisa Harris. Interesting and unusual storyline with strong characters and many twists and turns to the plot.
The narrator did a good job in portraying the characters BUT I feel strongly that her voice did not suit the main character. I think a younger female voice might have been better. I found it a bit off putting
"Not a bad read"
Interesting story, although a little slow at times. A good housework companion. Narrator's voice, while not widely varied for different characters, is pleasant. I am ready to read the next installment.
Terrible ending. I expected something better. Cliff hangers are one thing but this book wasn't finished.
interesting, surprising, enjoyable
I love suspense and this was on point
Yes. It was slow at first but I really enjoyed this book
Ready for book 3, already listened to books 1 & 2
"great christian book"
I really enjoyed this book. it was a great and riviting mystery. girls are disappearing but nener found. federal agent family seems to be the target and especially she herself. who wants her dead and why? this is a clean mystery without the sleasy sex some authors think so necessary.
