This book is incredible. From beginning to end, every sentence will have you in its vice like grip.
No holds barred storytelling at its best, certainly not for the faint hearted but definitely for lovers of Martina Cole.
Thoroughly and highly recommended with clever narration by Alison Campbell, whose talent makes each loveable and despicable character come to life.
Need I say more?
This is not the kind of book i ususually read, however i am so glad i did!!! not only was the stor yline fantastic, the highlight for me was the narration by Alison Campbell, absolutely top notch, the accents were awesome and she really made you feel for all of the characters
There is not one moment that stands out because it was an overall fantastic listen! however if i had to say, it would be the character of Lena, my heart went out to her all the way through the book
I have to say, i loved Misty, and i think this is because of Alisons narration, she really bought the character to life, he accents were spot on and Misty made me smile
yes!!! and i nearly did!! i finished it in a day & half!! i could not put it down¬
fantastic listen, superb plot, believable characters and really made you think of the awful things people in this world have to go through! Bravo Casey Kellaher.
First of all i must say how much i enjoyed listening to this book who was narrated by Alison Campbell she played the characters brilliantly and all the accents where spot on a very easy listen. (i'm really fussy and sometime find it hard to enjoy the book if the narrator isn't good)
The book itself was brilliant too, its a hard hitting storey with lots of different characters each one with there part to play, all the characters came together in a fantastic storey with lots of twist and turns along the way, this is a brilliant read it literately had me hooked from start finish only bad thing is that i have finished it already and now have to wait for the next one from this author.
Retired drug and alcohol worker. Due to a spinal injury I unfortunately had to retire earlier than hoped for. I have always enjoyed reading
I have listened to all is this author's books and really enjoyed them. not this one. it was harrowing, depressing and unbelievable that so much murder and carnage could happen in a short time. Definitely not for me
