Summary

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author comes an explosive new thriller

She had the perfect life.

She had the perfect cover.

She was the perfect witness.

Until they found her.

From the blockbuster bestselling author of the Eve Duncan novels comes a new, stand alone thriller about a woman with a photographic memory who has lived her life in the Witness Protection Program. What she once put her entire family in jeopardy and now, years later, her cover is blown. She’s on the run, and the lives of those she holds dear hang in the balance. As only Iris Johansen can do, you won’t see the twists coming.

Nothing much to it

No surprises, boring even.
Had good potential though, something's missing there, as if it's still raw, a draft.

Good opening and ending - rest predictable

Would you try another book written by Iris Johansen or narrated by Elisabeth Rodgers?

Probably not by the author. It was a bit long winded and self indulgent.

Has The Perfect Witness put you off other books in this genre?

No, but it was like a poor man's version of x-men.

Did Elisabeth Rodgers do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?

Yes. I found the main character irritating, but I don't think that was her the reader's fault.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Perfect Witness?

Most of the middle.
