Trouble is rising in Montana's Bitterroot Valley and only one man is willing to stop it....

Frank Riordan is waging a one-man campaign to shut down the local pulp mill that is polluting the air and devastating the environment; tensions are growing, and the only man who can help already has troubles of his own. Goes round and round

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I prefer a book to build to a height with a nice neat ending.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I am certainly not as clever as this great author. James Lee Burke is a brilliant writer.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Descriptio9ns were great.

Could you see The Lost Get-Back Boogie being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

Nope.

Any additional comments?

His other books are wonderful.

Excellent and Interesting

I have read many James Lee Burke novels, mainly the Robicheaux series, but I do enjoy his stand-alone stories. Well-written and very well-performed. He’s great at setting the scene and the pace of the novels often match the atmosphere and setting. America’s greatest ever writer in my opinion. Fantastic.
