Excellent storyline and well narrated. Each chapter kept me gripped throughout not wanting to put it down. I would recommend this book with a perfect twist at the end. If you like psychological thrillers you wont be disappointed.
Too many twists and turns. Despite the over explanations there are too many characters and things happening. Bit predictable regarding main antagonist as well. And finely explanation regarding abduction was not convincing.
What a fantastic listen, I listened to this every spare minute I had over 2 days and has to be one of the best books I have read/listened to. I will definitely be buying more books by Kathryn Croft!
Kept me entertained.
Good narration. Flowing story. Not bad at all. I'm happy with this purchase.
"Great psychological thriller"
Well written, fast pace with several twists. I really enjoyed this book it kept my attention all the way through!
"Oh Snap.. Is She or isn't She The Girl You Lost?"
I absolutely would recommend this book to anyone into suspense and mystery. Although the premise is tragic as losing a child is life altering- it's also dark and nerve racking. You have to choose what to believe and who to believe. There's some sketchy characters and wondering who the male narrative is keeps you guessing until the end. Definitely worth the credit, in my opinion.
I have read other books by the same author that I loved, which is why I got this one. I wish I didnt, and now I am hesitant to get another book from this author.
The narrator bugged me, I had to speed up the read back rate to 1.5 or 2 at some points bc it was so frustrating
Save your credits / money
This book was kind of slow and very predictable. There are better British mysteries out there, I would skip this one. There is nothing new or intriguing here.
"great book with a wild twist at the end"
This is a well written and well narrated book of abduction, discovery and an unbelievable twist at the end that I never saw coming.
There was a decent twist in the end, but they were awkwardly put into the story. It's an okay book if your looking for something to fill the space.
"Quite good ...."
This book moved along quickly. The accent wasn't too distracting - loved the male voice. Although I guessed the ending, it didn't spoil the story for me because I wasn't sure I was right until it was revealed. Creepy in parts but believable. I would recommend for soft thriller / mystery fans.
"Oh man... a lot of twists !!"
This was pretty good- although it did contain some pretty intense scenes (rape) . It was a little hard to listen to sometimes. Good story though and great narration.
Had me guessing the entire time! Really enjoyed the story and would recommend to those who like a good suspense book!
