I have listened to all of the previous books and loved them, however this one was lacking. The end felt rushed and just didn't seem to tie everything up - so much just didn't really make sense, and so many question raised but left unanswered. There were also a lot of parts of this that were a bit pointless and just seemed to be there to take up time. A real disappointment compared to the earlier books in the series, but it hasn't put me off listening to the rest of the series. A shame.
Greed. Power. Loss.
The mystery of the cobweb.
I wish Adam Sims would check his French accent. Among other errors, he pronounced 'fils' (fiss) as fille (fee). Fille means daughter and fils son, so you appreciate it is rather confusing for the listener!
A good story. However, I found this a tad dragged out and boring. I had to force my way to the end and thought maybe I am just not a Louise Penny fan. I picked it based on ratings. Not sure if I will try another.
