Summary
CSA's fourth collection of Sherlock Holmes short stories is read by Edward Hardwicke, who played Dr. Watson to Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes in Granada TV's popular series broadcast in the early 1990s.
The Crooked Man tells the story of a long lost love who returns but horribly changed, revealing an awful treachery which has been kept secret for many decades.
The Greek Interpreter features Holmes' brother Mycroft who leads Holmes and Watson to a hideous murder and the betrayal of a foreign heiress.
In The Naval Treaty we hear that an innocent man's honour, position, and health are at stake when a treaty of the utmost importance is stolen from his office.
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson bring their own expertise to unravel these mysteries. Edward Hardwicke shows us his usual skills in story-telling, unfolding each story in exactly the manner of the period.
