A relaxing day of rock climbing takes a disturbing turn when Kayden McKenna's route leads her face to face with a dead climber. Is it a terrible accident or something sinister? When the case is handed to the overburdened sheriff, he turns to Jake Westin. With Jake's past now revealed, he's ready to use his talent for investigation again - but he could never prepare for where the case will take him. Kayden and Jake soon realize that the death was no accident. And worse, it seems the killer is on to them. When strange things begin happening in Yancey, Jake is terrified that once again his world may put someone he loves in danger. But the truth is far worse than he could ever imagine.

"pretty good...but not amazing"
The story is ok. It is the fourth book in the series and it is nice to keep contact with the characters and family but these books are not brilliant. I am a big Dee Henderson fan and was looking for some books to fill my library while Ms. Henderson continues to write. There just isn't a lot of substance to these stories. They are interesting but I always wish there was more.
"Evil on the Loose"
Good and fast moving from the first . God is always in charge. He does not promise his people freedom from pain and trouble, but he does promise He will be with His People.
"Love the Alaskan theme, but"
The books seem to follow a similar romantic pattern. we can all ready tell who the next couple will be in book 5.
"Disappointed -- wrong category"
This is the wrong category for me. I thought it would be a climbing mystery set in Alaska. Rather it was a Christian Romance.
Not really, lots of repeptition, stupid action, and teenager romance under guise of adults.
Please, better categorize books. I could see some people would like this.
