Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

A Jack Reacher short story published as an individual audiobook, now also available in the complete Jack Reacher short story collection, No Middle Name.

Ever wondered what early experiences shaped Reacher's explosive career as butt-kicker supreme, the one-man guided-missile battler for justice? Lee Child looks back on an incident in his hero Jack Reacher's teenage years as the younger son of a tough career US Marine, on a faraway military base in the Pacific.

Although the Jack Reacher novels can be listened to in any order, Second Son follows on from Worth Dying For.

Warning! V short story!

Good little story, but be careful when using a credit for a story only 1 hour long.

A worthy Reacher title

Second Son provides an interesting introduction to the childhood that led to the Reacher we all know. Fans will enjoy this short story, those not familiar with Reacher should read a couple of books first to get some context. A worthy short listen.

Expensive book

I agree with prior comments that this book is not worth a £9.99 credit. It’s content is up to scratch, but it’s very short

It’s 10% of a normal book

This is a waste of a credit, rip off! Audible shouldn’t hold this book and should refund

Don’t waste a credit here

I wish I had read the reviews but as I am working through the series of books I didn’t imagine I’d be charged a credit for something less than an hour. Waste of money - would prefer the short stories be bundled together to see value for money. Disappointed with audible but the story was okay.

Interesting, but very short story.

I’m working through the series and really enjoying them. But was surprised and disappointed that this tome is only just over an hour long!!

Neat and cool story relating to Reacher's backgrou

Although I have ready the complete series, this is some insight into Reacher and his family history.

Short Story with Poor Plot

A good background to the Reacher family, bit a bit short for one credit. He then solves the mystery with no solving!!
