excellent book.once i started listening couldnt put it down.hadnt read much crime thriller but this book has got me hooked.cant wait for his new book to be released shortly.
Was very impressed with this book. Was a little worried when I read a review stating that it was very graphic and full of blood, but could not have enjoyed this book more. It is in the thriller genre and is very descriptive about the murders, but what do you expect when reading this type of book. I am a huge Karin Slaughter fan, and honestly found this book slightly tame compared to her graphic descriptions, but still thoroughly enjoyed it. Of course as with all thriller novels you guess some of the plot and a little can be very similar to other books, but overall I found this a refreshing take in most areas and very well written, definitely not a disappointing download, thank you.
This book nearly killed me. I listened to it whilst driving to and from work. Once I almost went into a a ditch I was so gripped. Loved it.
I really enjoyed this book, the murders are very detailed and the narrator was easy to listen to. The only reason I didn't give this book a full five stars is that other books I have listened to have slightly topped this one. But great if you like as I do detailed murder scenes........
What a sick serial killer this was,not for the faint hearted, its gripping, sick, romantic, and sad i was a little disappointed with the end,i wanted more, but i thought the story was great.
really enjoyable kept me interested right to the end.
was sorry when it came to the end, well narrated
Was a bit disappointed with this book - the violence and shock appear to be compensating for a typical thriller plot. First half had me hooked, but was fast forwarding the second and couldn't wait for it to end :(
I enjoy crime fiction and am not too squeamish about details of injuries etc, but I did find that this book dwelt too much on the horrible details of what a psychopathic killer was doing to his female victims. As is often the case in this genre the motivation for the murders and the methods of of execution are bizarre. The writing style and the reader are both good, but I felt the book was too long and could have been shorter with any loss.
I really enjoyed this book. The narration was also very good. I was spell bound to listen until the end of the story.
"Gripping and very enjoyable"
Loved it. Loved all aspects - writing style, characterisation, story line, and narration style.
Good story well read which will keep you intrigued from begining to end.
