Summary

Palm Trees in the Pyrenees gives you an insight into the workings and atmosphere of small town France against a background of gender, sexual, racial, and religious prejudice.

The story unfolds, told by Danielle, a single, downtrodden, 30-year-old who is the only cop in the small Pyrenean town. She feels unappreciated and unnoticed, having been passed over for promotion in favor of her male colleagues working in the region. But everything is about to change. The sudden and mysterious death of a much-hated, locally-based Englishman propels Danielle forward into the spotlight. This one violent death will have far reaching effects.

Whodunnit??

An intriguing, exciting plot twisting whodunnit. The charming accent of Danielle transports you into the Pyrenees. It makes you look around, giving you the feeling of being there and submerging you into the characters lives. It brings each of the characters to life, giving you the sense that you actually know them personally and you could meet them around the next corner.
Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
