Bite size Nightingale!

I loved this! Although I might be biased as I'm a big fan of the Nightingale series and Paul Thornley as the narrator. I hoped this format of short stories wouldn't disappoint and it didn't. The stories work so well in shorter format, the length of each one was just right (approx 1.5 hours per story). Each one was long enough to capture everything the full books do. Familiar characters return too, which is very nice.
It might be better to have listened to another book in the series before, however it's not crucial. If this is your first, I have a feeling it will just wet your appetite for more of Nightingale's demonic adventures. I would recommend this book either way. I'll definitely be listening to it again very soon.

Interesting concepts

This has been an interesting compilation of stories covering a variety of supernatural concepts. The author created a complex main character in Jack Nightingale, with a supporting cast of equally beguiling characters. Very enjoyable.

Jack Nightingale

Love the narration by Paul Thornley - he brings Jack to life. The Creeper could be a book in itself.
Love the series .

A truly excellent collection of Jack Nightingale

A must for all die hard Nightingale fans. I had definitely listened to one of the stories previously but the others were new and it was a great collection.
Paul Thornley is a master of voices and no one could ever be more Jack than he is. Highly recommended

Chilling Occult Stories

These are chilling occult stories where the good triumphs usually. Well narrated with Jack Nightingale the main protagonist in the fight against evil.

Does not instill the psychological terror of Stephen King or draw the characters as fully as Nightingale is the primary narrator and the other characters less developed. Still though a very good listen.
