Welcome to the most intriguing mystery you'll read this year. Welcome to Midnight, Texas.
From the number-one New York Times best-selling author of the Sookie Stackhouse novels - 'the Mark Twain of things that live under your bed' - comes a new novel of Midnight, Texas, the town where some secrets will never see the light of day....
At Midnight's local pawnshop, weapons are flying off the shelves - only to be used in sudden and dramatic suicides right at the main crossroads in town. Who better to figure out why blood is being spilled than the vampire Lemuel, who, while translating mysterious texts, discovers what makes Midnight the town it is?
There's a reason why witches and werewolves, killers and psychics, have been drawn to this place. And now they must come together to stop the bloodshed in the heart of Midnight. For if all hell breaks loose - which just might happen - it will put the secretive town on the map, where no one wants it to be....Read by Susan Bennett.

I love the Midnight series, the characters draw me in and, as with the first two books, I couldn't stop listening. The narrator, as always m, did a fantastic job.
I listened to the other two and in this book Midnighth has finally found its feet. Loved it and shall miss it. I hope the next one comes out soon. This was by far the best in the series.
A great conclusion to a fab trilogy
Love all the characters but have a soft spot for Olivia
Susan Bennett has a wonderful voice
I get bored quickly so take ages choosing my books. Preferred authors are Sanderson, Rothfuss, Abercrombie, tho' C Harris makes me laugh too
............the series continues with some new characters, and some "powering-up" of existing ones. Same light tone, narration and nonsense.
If you've enjoyed the first two books in the series, then this is more of the same. Hardly ground-breaking stuff (no pun intended - no spoiler given), but it's a light-hearted series to escape to.
Yes, I'd recommend this set of books every time. It has the right mix of supernatural, with characters brought in from other books series. It's what I term an easy book- no brain work involved just an easy listen but plenty going on
Enjoyed it all. this book brought all the characters together for the first time; they really complimented each other
Very well read, great vampire voice suited to the character!
Yep, although believe I managed it in less than a week with a few long car journeys.
Great set of books. Not quite up to Sookie or Aurora sets but a good fix if you are a Charlaine Harris fan, and you've read everything else!
I have come to adore this series. Charlaine Harris builds each character so well. I feel like I really know them, their nuances and faults as well as their saving graces.
I am so absorbed with the plot line and I am pleased to be able to comment that the narrator does a brilliant job!!
I've listened to alot of audiobooks and sometimes it's a real miss because the narrator doesn't allow for you to be pulled into the story and experience it. Not the case here.
I bought the book on an off-chance and was thinking, it's a gamble if I will like it but I actually love it. Was worth the risk.
the trilogy gives the lie to the idea that middle books are boring - superb performance which does justice to an entertaining, brilliant book
