Somebody pushed Shelby Poinsett out her second-floor library window, and it wasn't her husband. At least that's what Charleston's most prestigious law firm wants Liz Talbot to prove. Liz must run the spectrum of Southern society, from the local homeless shelter where Shelby volunteered to the 100-year-old book club where Charleston's genteel ladies are dying to join, to bring a killer to justice.

"Boyer delivers a beach read filled with quirky, endearing characters and a masterfully layered mystery, all set in the lush lowcountry. Don't miss this one!" (Mary Alice Monroe, New York Times best-selling author)
Fun central characters in a well plotted mystery.
Going undercover down by the lake.
Loretta Rawlins nails the Lowcountry books every time, bring the characters alive with Southern charm and wit.
As always, I enjoyed the Lowcountry books.
Susan writes her characters with wit and charm, in well plotted and written mysteries.
If you haven't tried them yet...you are missing out!
"Light Read--Just What I Need"
An enjoyable light read with just enough intrigue and suspense. I look forward to learning more about Colleen, an interesting addition to a murder mystery.
"Low Country Book Club is Well Worth a Listen"
Real Southern Charm
The main character having drinks with the murdered womans neighbours. Any more would give it away.
The main character was the best.
There were a couple of moments that made me laugh very hard.
I have read a couple of the Low Country books and they seem to start out slow. The magic is that this seems to be intentional to give the feeling of living in "southern" time. The books draw you in like a glass of sweet tea. Once you've read one you have to read more.
This is one of my all time favorite series I've loved each book including this one ... but not quite as much as the others. The story lacks the creativity of the other books. By now the characters are well known and developed but they were flat and uninteresting in this book.
Going into withdrawal. Need more books in this delightful series. Please hurry with the next one, and the next, and the next one. Well, you get the picture. More more more please.
"Enjoyable addition to the Lowcountry series"
Fun story...very entertaining! Interesting characters. Listening to it makes me want to visit South Carolina.
"Another Great Liz Talbot Story"
Another great story in the life of Liz Talbot by Susan Boyer! Loretta Rawlins does an excellent narration and brings such a great life to the book! Can't wait for the next book!
I just love these stories. The narrator captures the characters and feel of the book beautifully.
"Another Winner in the Liz Talbot series"
There are so many things that I love about the Liz Talbot series that I don't even know where to start. I have listened to the audio version of them all and I think it enhances the experience to hear Loretta Rollins perfect Lowcountry accent as narrator.
These novels are a wonderful blend of mystery, romance, supernatural... with a healthy dose of Charleston's charm, history. and charm mixed in. The characters are simply adorable and authentic.
Thank you, Susan M. Boyer for allowing us another adventure with Liz & Nate.
"Ready for more"
Very enjoyable and this book sets you up for the next book in this series.
"Maybe my favorite Liz Talbot book yet!"
Great story! And as always, the narrator was fantastic. Can't wait for the next one.
