When we last saw Wendy Darlin and Roger Jolley, they'd recovered twelve of the thirteen Egyptian icons stolen from the British Museum. Wendy, Miami realtor and part-time tomb raider, is now in a frantic race against time and a murderer as she searches for the last Lost Boy hidden somewhere in London while a killer heat wave invades the city.

I would be very cautious considering the narrator chosen for this book.
The narrator. It is difficult to follow the story when I'm constantly wincing at the dreadful accents and the stilted style of the narrator.
I couldn't immerse myself in this book because of the horror narration.
Don't ever ask this narrator to try accents again.
"Join Wendy on her latest wacky adventure!"
Fun on the run with Wendy Darlin and her Roger Jolly. Each hysterical novel in the series is an easy stand-alone, but the hilarity multiplies exponentially as you stack up the puns and innuendoes by reading more of them. Here they are on the hunt for the last Lost Boy as commissioned by Benny Hanna. There is lots more going on, but no spoilers here! Whenever you have too much stress, just grab one of the Wendy Darlin series and laugh yourself silly.

"Funny and filled with action"
Love this series. Wendy Darlin is a cross between Lara Croft and Lucille Ball. Book two has her searching for a stolen Egyptian icon hidden somewhere in London. The clever play on words and the quirky character names are like a treasure hunt within a treasure hunt. One must read all of them to get the full depth of the characters, as each book expands on at least one of the previous book's characters. Can’t wait for book three.
