Summary

#1 New York Times bestselling author Dean Koontz’s brilliantly thrilling novel of suspense.

In the midst of a raging blizzard, lightning struck on the night Laura Shane was born. And a mysterious blond-haired stranger showed up just in time to save her from dying.

Years later, in the wake of another storm, Laura will be saved again. For someone is watching over her. Is he the guardian angel he seems? The devil in disguise? Or the master of a haunting destiny beyond all time and space?

“A gripping novel...fast-paced and satisfying.” - People

Good Koontz but below his average

Enjoyable as everything written by Dean Koontz, however there are more than dozen of his books, I enjoyed more - perhaps the plot was too weird for me, this time.

Guardian Angels

Whenever lightning strikes her guardian angel comes to save her. How many times can he alter her future? Where does he come from? Can he save her that one last time when she really needs him? Great listen, enjoy it!

OK

Good for anyone that likes to puzzle it out as they read or get their head around a logistical plot. That's not me. I like an easier, fluent read.

Guilty pleasure.

The story is hugely far-fetched and the history at best dodgy. Equally the narrator is struggling a bit with his accents but boy what fun! :D

Enjoyable

An enjoyably silly yarn from Koontz with a few interesting takes on how time travel might work. Perfect for the car.

Fabulous

At first the narrators voice really got on my nerves, but you soon see past it as you get involved in the book. A fantastic story that will completely grip you. From beginning to end.

A Truly Wonderful Experience! Buy this audiobook.

Another great book by Dean Koontz. The audio equivalent of a page turner.
My favourite D.K. book was and remains "Watchers". I first read it in my 20's, I'm now in my mid 50's. It was also my first audiobook. Thankfully it is wonderfully narrated.
I binge read D.K.'s books in my 20's including this one and it's a very challenging book to narrate. This narrator is a genius! I'm blown away by how convincingly he voices the MANY characters, his perfect pacing of the story and the passion of his storytelling. This is the best audiobook I have EVER listened to.
I listen to most of my Audiobooks on my Amazon Echo. There are a treasured few that are so good I buy them in CD format as well as digital. I can hold this one in my hand. No breakdown of internet supply can stop me from listening to this gem. I promise you will not regret purchasing this title. Enjoy!
