I bought four these Inspector West novels, I found the first two amusingly dated and stilted in comparison to today's novels, I found this one to be rather boring , this could be because I am no longer amused.
It was ok to listen to, in that I did actually plod on until the end, but I will wait to read number four until I am desperate for something to read.
Great story, performed superbly by Mr. Armstrong. On par with Simenon and his Maigret stories.
