An eledly man has his family for Christmas, and a a young lady turns up claiming to be his dead daughter's child + a young man turns up saying that he's the son of his ex-business partner but are they who they said they are? Christmas Eve a policeman comes with a collection box 75 minutes later there a loud crashing noise gurgle and scream door is locked what's gone on,?????? after breaking the door down the furniture was all about the room safe door open and the elderly man is lying amongst it all with his throat slashed ear to ear. Suddenly the same policeman turns up Poriot is having Christmas with a friend of his a policeman so he's brought in on the case what he unfolds is ace, but everyone in the house has a motive which one is it and why........
Well read as usual by Hugh Fraser but u find the plot of this one just a little too full of far-fetched plot twists. Good fun over Christmas though!
As always. It had it twists and turn and it fair bastards.
I really like the way the story graduates to a round the table kind of finale.
