Summary

From the moment Lina Townend and Griff Tripp, set up their antiques stall at the weekend fair, Lina knows they’ve made a mistake. But Lina’s day is brightened when local director Emilia Cosworth begs Griff to take part in her latest play. Lina’s own good luck seems in short supply. Griff’s frequent rehearsals put strain on her relationship with DI Morris; a new antiques centre threatens their business; and Lina is visited by a man who wants her to work for him and seems disinclined to take no for an answer. But worse is yet to come – when a series of “pranks” played on the cast of Curtain Call turn nasty, Lina wonders if the name of the play might be an omen.

lina under threat.

Where does Guilt Trip rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have listened to so many so far its hard to judge.

Any additional comments?

this story moves away from being a cosy mystery series and into easy listening thriller genre.
griff and lina feel their business is under threat as a new large antiques/teashop store opens up nearby.
griff's health worries lina as well as the safety of her friends and herself.
so far I have enjoyed this series. good writing, characterisation and plots, well performed by Diana bishop.
looking forward to the next book in the series. wondering if it is the last in the series as judith cutler has moved on to another series.
