"Fans...will continue to hang onto his every breath-taking, shock ridden, plot-twisting word." (Bookbag)
Although the change of narrator at first was strange, after getting use to it I descoverd just how amazing an addition this was to the series. I was kept on edge throughout not knowing what was going to happen or who would do it, with the well placed subtle hints that were stunned about not only to foreshadow events, but to also throw is off the truth behind the story making each reveal just as shocking as the first. With the truly amazing twists of the story being woven throughout I became deeply attached to every main character, but still unsure of who was a actually a friend or who would die and this antisipation of events kept me coming back to the story to hear more.
A truly amazing book that I would recommend to anybody and would encourage them to start from the beginning of the series so that they can understand just how good the writing is.
Avid reader in domains from coaching through business leadership and management to ideas generation and innovation.
Ended too soon - mainly due to being such a gripping storyline. Tough is an understatement!
This the best book in the series so far. This book can stand toe to toe with other historical battle fiction. And I am keen for the next chapter in Thomas Blackstones life.
