Engrossing!

I've been unable to resist listening to all three parts of this thoroughly absorbing trilogy( January Window, Hand of God and False Nine).
Credible characters, brilliantly interpreted by Mr.Wincott! riveting stories and a view of football I could never have imagined.
Marvellous!!

Not enjoyed

unlike most of Philips books I could not get into it. Although the main character has some appeal I found it a rather shallow with a rather predictable outcome. I will stick to the Bernie Gunther novels I think.
