Summary
Amid a sultry Atlanta summer, someone is targeting police. The investigation becomes personal for APD Detective Ryan Winter when a colleague and friend is shot dead - the second victim in weeks. Enjoyable
It was an entertaining story that kept you guessing as to who the perpetrator was. It was very well narrated, too. Would definitely recommend it.

A great murder mystery
Good complex characters,including evil , psychotic, gentle, heroic and troubled. This story has sorrow, happiness, humour , twists and surprises. And love stories to boot.

well rounded story
while I wasn't keen on listening to sex scenes being read to me, I enjoyed the relationship development and characterisation. A good story.

Not an intelligent read.
This book was really not worth the effort. I’m glad it was free so I didn’t waste a credit.
Story was slow and dull and the characters were not well-drawn enough to make you care about them. The mills and boon style sex scenes managed to be a real negative. I actually fast forwarded the second one because it was so ridiculous.
It certainly isn’t an intelligently written story and this was made a lot more apparent by the even less intelligent narration. The narrator had a really nasal voice and couldn’t keep the characters’ voices straight. I’ll avoid anything read by her in the future and I’ll also probably avoid anything by this author.

Little plot less character development. Dependent on explicit sex scenes tp spice it up. Doesn't work for me.
