From thriller and suspense master Brett Battles comes Down, the final book in the Project Eden saga.
Matt Hamilton's last words have led Daniel Ash and his team to the snow-covered town of Everton, Vermont. On a field just outside city limits sits an unassuming hut. But this is no innocent building. Inside is the entrance to the secret Project Eden base known as Dream Sky, the key to the Project's success. Or its defeat, as Ash hopes. To give the team the best chance to succeed, Resistance groups have moved into position outside Project installations around the globe. The purpose: to create diversions that will draw Project attention away from Dream Sky. These groups have been waiting for the signal to attack. The wait is over.

Imagine an innocuous thing like a shipping container parked not far from you... The beginning of the end . A great read . I am sad it's over ! I will miss all the good guys .! Highly recommend . This germ warfare tale listened to from the safety of my comfy. bed , knowing it could never really happen ........... Right? .....
"Finally the suspense ends with Book 7..."
of Project Eden. It has been a wild ride as the suspense has built through the first six books.
Project Eden is a continuing series that can be thought of as a single 60 hour book, so each of the first 6 books end with a lot of uncertainty and unresolved issues. The suspense builds up to a point that very few action thrillers can match. Along with the Jonathan Quinn series Project Eden establishes Brett Battles as one of the best thriller writers ever.
McLeod Andrews narrates the Project Eden series and he does his usual great job.
I have enjoyed this series and highly recommend it to readers of action thrillers.
"Good closure to exceptional series"
This could easily have turned into "and they lived happily ever after..." While it brings a very good closure to the series, it reminds us that extinction level events are messy. That while good may triumph - there is a cost to be paid. Good people often pay that price for those that remain.
Solid wrap up to a extremely infectious (hehe) series. It should've been a little longer, because a few things seemed rushed. Otherwise, I really love the book and the series....no spoilers, but I'm hoping the ending is a lead-in for a new series :D
"Wonderful ending to a great series"
Yes. Though I haven't read the print version, I don't feel it would've given me the same emotions as listening to it did
I would have to say Martina. I liked her spunk, plus the way her voice was read made her interesting :)
Yes when Martina and Maureen finally meet up.
"Another great read by Brett Battles"
Macleod Andrews is my absolute favorite performers for audio books. I have found some great authors by following him and choosing books based on his performance. Love him!
Brett Battles has become one of my favorite Authors. Haven't read a dull one yet.
yes, if you multi task like me Audio give you more freedom...and Down will end up surprising you at the end if you have listen to the other books before this one.
how easy it was to spy on the Project Eden, to know what I mean you need to listen to the book.
NO, great narrator, and I would add him to one of the reasons I would buy a book read by him.
Awesome series, but you would need to start at the beginning to understand how each book end up at Down...worth your time and money.
"This was an OUTSTANDING series!!"
This was an OUTSTANDING series that made me grab the next book in the series well before I was done with the previous... I did this so I would not miss a beat in the story... It was so compelling, and quite original in its overall plot, I thought... Do yourself a favor, and start with "Sick" the first in the series, and then don't stop until you get to "Down" the seventh and "final?" installment... You will NOT regret it!!
once again Brett Battles nailed it. Just like the other Project Edon books you are briefed on what was going on prior to each book. With many characters I was engolf in each person's story. So many things happening at once you hate to have to stop. Two thumbs up
I really hope this is made into a show or mini series. I loved every book in the series.
my attention was held from the start. Wondering what was going to happen next, and if the characters would make it out alive or if the project would get them. This has definitely been one of the better series I have read. I enjoyed the story, the narrator, and the imagery evoked by both.
