Publisher's Summary

Loving her is murder. She shouldn't have played....

Gallery owner Tern Maiski has always had a way with men, but the one she gave her heart to disappeared without a word. Now he's competing alongside her and four others in a high-tech treasure hunt, and her pride isn't the only thing on the line. So is her life. He doesn't play by the rules... Geophysicist Gage Fallon's relationship with Tern has been cataclysmic from the beginning. He cared too much, too fast, and their passion threatened to consume him. Now he's back on firmer ground and competing in a game that will risk more than his heart. Once their group is dropped off in a remote area near the Arctic Circle, it quickly becomes clear that instead of hunting for treasure, they're the ones being hunted. And the killer is dead serious about caching them in.

"After Hours of Listening...the ending ruined it!"
Would you try another book from Tiffinie Helmer and/or Mia Chiaromonte?

Not sure. I'll have to check the reviews carefully.

What was most disappointing about Tiffinie Helmer’s story?

SPOILER AHEAD - The ending was ridiculous and ruined the whole book. Guy is shot AND stabbed, and the GIRL suddenly dies!? The end is resolved in an afterlife discussion with her former lovers!? Most stupid ending ever. What a waste of time. Overall the story was ok, a little longer than needed, too much juvenile bitching, but I could have been okay with that if the author hadn't gone off the deep end with the silly ending.

    Story
"Who knew geo-caching could be so dangerous"

If ever you go to get on a plane and you have slept with all of the men on the flight, I have just one word for you . . . RUN.

That's what happens to Tern, but she doesn't heed the little voice in the back of her head telling her this is a bad idea. The group has been hand picked for a geo-caching contest and they are dropped in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness. First they find that all their survival equipment is gone (phones, matches, food, etc), then one of the contestants gets murdered. The rest of the group decides it might be a good idea to hike out to civilization. It soon becomes a race against time and a murderer.

I really like Tiffinie Helmer's books, this is the first one I have listened to and it was very enjoyable. The narrator was good and Tiffinie's gift of making her characters seem real is excellent.
